Sanofi is hiring key contributors to onboard Sanofi Digital transformation journey and to embrace the Digital capabilities. SAP systems are a key component of this digital transformation. SANOFI has an important number of SAP systems, and one of the main objective of the SAP HUB is to extract, union and provide data of these SAPs for the different consumers (Data Foundations, Data Products, IA, Reporting, …).
The Proxy Product Owner will work closely with the Product Owner to define the objectives of the team, feed the backlog by collecting and answering business expectations, ensuring the delivery, respecting the SLA defined and playing a significant role in quality control.
The SAP HUB is also a key component for classical SAP reporting, which facilitates the development of reporting solutions thanks to the fact all SAP data are available in one place.
Main responsibilities:
- Define with the PO the prioritization of business stakeholders' requirements and its continuous refinement
- Collaborate with the PO and communicate the product vision and roadmap in alignment with broader organization goals
- Negotiate Yes/No with the partners and with the delivery team; empowered to make decisions related to product features, backlog prioritization, release planning.
- Define user stories and accept them from the delivery team.
- Ensures good practices in architecture to meet applicable quality, regulatory (Data Privacy, GxP, SOX, etc.) and cybersecurity requirements.
- Own the definition, set up, and execution of test cases to ensure the solution meets functional and non-functional requirements
- Work with architects and provide guidance to stakeholders to define the best way to provide reporting
- Ensure the development of a unified model as output of the SAP HUB
- Collaborate closely with functional and technical SAP experts to facilitate extraction and to ensure integrity of the data in the SAP HUB
- Collaborate with partners, Digital M&S, Digital Corporate and Digital Commercial
- Lead operational performance indicators and technical metrics
- Ensure the resolution of potential issues during extractions
- Provide consistent updates to leadership and executives, making communication easy and clear regarding product issues and decisions to be made. Support business case creation
- Promote usability standards and design solutions with a high-quality
- Proactively monitor the daily jobs to ensure SLA are respected
- Animate the daily and agile ceremonies
- Prepare and maintain training material and SOPs, knowledge base articles and technical documentation
About you
Minimum Experience & Knowledge Required
- 5 years+ experience in relevant role OR in Project Management
- Strong understanding and experience in Agile methodology and techniques
- Proven experience in data management
- Very good communication level and engagement skills, both written and verbal
- Management of internal and external people
- Knowledge of ETL processing
- Basic knowledge of SAP
- Data engineering or Modeling background is a plus
- Knowledge of Snowflake is a plus
- Experience leading multi-department and multi-cultural teams: clarifying requirements, resolving conflicts, defining roadmap and driving progress
