Your job? Be the representative of our key Brands in Cough & Cold category (Lysopaine , Phytoxil, Rhinospray, Histiacil, Physiomer, Maxilase)  to represent Science Hub at EULA region (Europe & Latam) and act as single point of contact for a strategic overview of what is needed from science hub to be successful. As a strong technical leader with strong business acumen and your ability to translate science & technology into relevant consumer unmet needs, it is expected that you influence your projects teams to reach go/no go decisions and to accelerate the opportunities for your EULA C&C Brands.

Main responsibilities

• Work closely with the EULA R&D Head, Innovation projects Managers, Brands leads, and Science Teams (Regulatory, Medical Leads)

• Initiate regional/local projects for your respective EULA C&C brands with end-to-end accountability (close collaboration with Innovation Projects Managers & Brands Leads of key countries)

• Align with your Brand & Innovation Leads & Heads to make sure that all C&C innovation initiatives are suitable to drive growth and deliver health in their hands for our consumers

• Align with the EULA R&D Head before each EULA Innovation Committee

• Be responsible for delivering a sustainable innovation pipeline for your Cough & Cold Category within the EULA region as well as ensuring business protection projects are identified and executed

• Influence and advise your key stakeholders and the EULA leadership team on industry trends and new opportunities for C&C category

• Build a consolidated view of all projects for your EULA Brands (Innovation & Claims Roadmaps) , identify cross-fertilization / scale-building opportunities, and prioritizes budget and resources between projects to deliver the ambition (close collaboration with Innovation Project Manager)

• Collaborate closely with the EULA countries (Marketing) of their C&C Local brand to identify their needs based on clear consumer insights

• Collaborate closely with other R&D functions (Development Centers , Technology & Platform R&D , Consumer science), Science Departments (Medical & Regulatory affairs), External Manufacturing , Procurement, Finance, Legal/IP

• Evaluate innovations (external or in-house) for your EULA C&C brands

• Evaluate innovations such as BD opportunities, New Product Development with significant impact that need new & clean ingredients & new technologies, sustainable packaging

• Utilize decision making criteria, recommend innovation investment allocations for your EULA C&C Brands and assist in clear communication of decisions across the EULA Region to ensure aligned execution

• Support the development and implementation of Innovation Process  that enable rigorous and objective decision-making within the EULA C&C Category to drive prioritization and trade-offs

• Support and execute regular innovation reviews with key Countries/EULA region for your C&C brands

About you

• Degree in Science with Masters or Higher degree (Ph.D.) or relevant Academic qualification is desirable

• Strong experience in CHC Innovation or Product development

• Ideally, knowledge in Cough & Cold area , natural products

• Knowledge of portefolio data (financial data , timing/milestones, and value propositions)

• Ability to partner and influence across a matrix environment with strong communication skills

• Strong leadership, business acumen & good interpersonal relationships

• Fluent spoken and written English

• Speak & write French will be a plus
