About the Job:
Lead Pharma External Partnership marketing strategy based on local market dynamics Through Regular assessment of outsourcing portfolio based on financial & market attractiveness.
End to End accountability to all Sudan, outsourcing, non-promoted (digital channels) brand activities that help in achieving country objectives, through implementing company strategies and policies.
Regular assessment of Pharma portfolio LCM based on financial & market attractiveness , Analyze portfolio pricing, GM% improvement initiatives
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1-Responsible for External partnership Portfolio:
Manage segmentation by establishing strategic need, defining product portfolio.
Manage marketing campaigns & promotional materials for outsourcing:
Ensure proper marketing segmentation, positioning & targeting of each brand
Manage marketing campaigns aligned with partners input, for medical & management approval.
Participate in the monthly breakdown of the annual forecast in coordination with External partnership Business Manager.
Able to deal with External Partnership Reports and consolidate and present this accurately.
Participating in annual brand marketing plan and implement the plans and key strategies.
Handling necessary approvals for all relevant promotional & non promotional materials and marketing activities for outsourcing portfolio
Support development of key digital material (including Webinars) to support customer engagement journeys if needed
GTM model activation by building value added CE journey based on true customer insight & (follow with the agreed objective)
Monitoring proper execution of medico-marketing strategies and endorsed the business plan received from the external partner.
Develop of promotional & training tools for external SF with alignment with all internal stakeholders .
Develop and execute a comprehensive digital HCP engagement strategy, integrating multi-channel capabilities, targeted content creation, and data-driven insights to expand reach.
Conduct thorough market analysis using IQVIA data to identify key trends and strategic business opportunities for outsourcing brands
2- Ensures the development and implementation of a long-term Marketing strategy focusing on maximizing operating profitability of SANOFI business in Sudan within the framework of SANOFI global business strategy.
Ensure developing and implementation of a strategy designed to grow Sudan business.
Responsible for the definition and the achievement of the financial objectives (sales, profitability) of SANOFI business in Sudan market.
Optimizes cross functional support needs in the organization, ensures effective coordination between sales, marketing, and medical teams.
Challenges appropriate systems and procedures to ensure efficient operations and appropriate control, based on quality performance and commitment to deliver on – time.
Ensure a smooth and active transversal interaction with different supportive functions.
Builds company image by collaborating with customers, government, community organizations, and employees, enforcing ethical business practices.
Ensure that Sudan sales turnover is in line with the preset Objective determined in the Annual Sudan Sales Business Plan
Play an integral role in the cross-functional stakeholders with Supply chain (SOP/TM) in addition to finance through the development of working relationships that will facilitate Sudan business operations.
Solves complex problems relating to the operation of the business.
Ensures that all policies and procedures are kept.
Develop & analyze dashboards and key performance indicators for relevant management stakeholders top identify key opportunities/ risks relevant to business areas.
For non-promoted, assess brands evolution & planning with finance and T&R teams.
3- Regular assessment of Pharma portfolio LCM based on financial & market attractiveness
Rereferring to different financial cycles “C1, C2 & Budget exercises” perform & analyze both financial, market attractiveness +CAGR% to assess relevant brands/ portfolio segmentation to support further decision making.
Coordinate with marketing, outsourcing & transformation heads to assess OPEX/ sales ratios and relevant brands potential based on financial cycles and real market opportunities.
Support in deciding for relevant brands/ SKUs potential for outsourcing referring to teams’ capacity & portfolio mix.
Active participation in annual sizing exercises in collaboration with sales, marketing, SFE, transformation head to leverage transformation journey based on global/ local directions.
Analyze portfolio pricing, GM% improvement initiatives & commercial schemes.
Pruning & and divestment projects design, execution & follow-up.
4- Health Safety and Environment Responsibilities

Engage the HSE department in the related activities (where applicable) and be sure that the work performed follows the local HSE regulations, Corporate HSE Policy and key requirements.
Demonstrate commitment to HSE through active involvement in the related programs and campaigns.
Follow HSE guidelines and take all necessary measures applicable to effectively implement the ‘HSE action plan (PASS)’ in work area and the activities.
Promote and follow the HSE rules and ‘Act responsibly’ to protect yourself and others from an injury and ill health conditions while at the work locations and/or while using road e.g., traffic rules, emergency evacuation procedure, medical surveillance, healthy lifestyle etc.
Follow the company’s road safety program.
Attend HSE training.
Report all the accident/ incident (if any) to the HSE Manager and investigate within the area of responsibility.
Thoroughly read all HSE instructions, procedures, policies issued by the Company, and comply with its requirements. Escalate any doubts or uncertainties to the direct Manager.
5- Ensures compliance of all activities
Respecting corporate commitment and compliance guidelines as well as local regulations
Guarantee that all activities, operations, and procedures are carried out in compliance with local regulations and laws governing business operations as well as corporate policies in order to avoid conflict with official/legal authorities and loss of public reputation.
Is responsible to manage HSE issues (Health, Safety and Environment) with the support of the local HSE team.
Acts as a role-model of ethics and business integrity.
6- Other responsibility

About You:
Education
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related scientific/business field (required).
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Marketing/Business Management is a strong asset.
Professional Experience
Minimum 7–10 years of Progressive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a proven track record in Marketing, Brand Management, or Business Unit Management.
Prior experience managing external partnerships/outsourcing portfolios (licensing, co-marketing, or distribution agreements) is highly preferred.
Demonstrated experience in P&L ownership and driving business results in an international or emerging market (experience in Sudan or similar African/Middle East markets is a plus).
Solid background in portfolio lifecycle management (LCM), pricing strategy, and brand pruning/divestment initiatives.
Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Medical, Finance, Supply Chain, Transformation, and SFE teams.
Technical & Functional Skills
Strong command of market data analytics tools (e.g., IQVIA) for market sizing, trend analysis, and opportunity identification.
Financial acumen: proven ability to build, analyze, and present forecasts, budgets, and financial cycles (C1, C2, Budget exercises), OPEX/sales ratio, and GM% improvement initiatives.
Skilled in developing and executing annual brand marketing plans, including segmentation, positioning, and targeting (SPT).
Familiarity with digital marketing/HCP engagement strategies, multi-channel content, and webinar/digital tool development.
Strong knowledge of promotional and non-promotional material approval processes and compliance requirements.
