Job title: Manufacturing Operations Team Lead

• Job Type: 23-month Fixed Term Contract

• Shift: 24/7 (2 days, 2 nights - 12-hour shifts - followed by 4 days off)

About the job

As a Manufacturing Operations Team Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of operations on one of our advanced multi‑format filling lines (MFFL R10) at Sanofi Waterford. This line supports aseptic filling activities within a Grade A isolator environment, operating at the highest standards of sterility, safety, and compliance. You will lead a highly engaged, high‑performing operational team that is fully aligned with site business objectives and committed to excellence.

Main responsibilities:

• Manage the manufacturing areas to ensure that production objectives are met
• Ensure production of products are undertaken in compliance with cGMP and Safety standards through regular walk through and review of deviations and GMP documentations
• Monitor the level of GMP compliance in their area on an on-going basis
• Ensure that all production activities are organised and executed on time, in full and right first time
• Involved in the preparation, review and approval of Manufacturing documentation and records
• Define team targets / goals and support team in achieving them especially in the areas of safety, productivity and quality
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, non-commercial activities and positively embrace change
• Train/assess competence for Team Member and manage performance on an on-going basis

About you

• Technical qualification in Science or Engineering
• Demonstrable leadership and people management experience
• Experience working in a sterile manufacturing environment
• Strong ability to influence, lead, and drive change
• Highly proactive, with the ability to understand the broader organisational context
• Diploma in Supervisory Management or equivalent (advantageous)
