Medical manager for Dupixent role is an office based medical personal responsible for leading and managing immunology medical affairs, this role will combine scientific expertise with internal and external stakeholders with business acumen to ensure medical strategies align with organizational goals while maintaining compliance with regulations and scientific integrity.
Main Accountabilities
· Serves as the medical scientific lead for population-based healthcare decision makers to facilitate scientific exchange on disease state management and the value of products
· Communicates the clinical value of the TA products to population health formulary decision makers
· Provides high quality, accurate, balanced and directed information to key customers and stakeholders
· Provides insights to internal teams on key evidence gaps relevant to healthcare decision makers, and to identify facilitate research, education, and other collaborations per applicable SOPs
· Provides medical leadership and expertise to sales, marketing, legal and regulatory functions for marketed products and compounds and therapeutics in development
· Engages external stakeholders on medical and scientific information exchange for the therapeutic area during one to one interactions and group settings
· Supports investigators in IIR submissions and management of local advisory boards
· Collaborates with internal stakeholders while maintaining full compliance with company, industry, legal and regulatory requirements
· Creates targeted stakeholder journeys, experience, and effectiveness leading to desired behavioral change
· Uses state of the art methods and approaches including digital, data and analytics
· Execution of multi-channel scientific engagement, advisory boards, association interactions, medical booth activities, and gathering of medical insights at congresses and other externally focused company activities
· Builds aligned thought leader engagement insights strategy and leads execution of insight gathering activities
· Builds aligned plans for advisory boards round tables to gather insights, communicate outcomes and recommendations, and lead execution
· Builds aligned advocacy professional association interaction plans and leads interaction
· Develops scientific engagement strategies tactics leveraging global plans
· Develops strategies for country specific partnership models with Medical Societies, Patient Organizations and Centers of Excellence
· Leverages global content, ensures timely execution of publication plans, medical education plans, scientific insight generations, stakeholder mapping and segmentation, customer journeys
· Develops country scientific curricula and content strategies to support successful launches capitalizing on multiple digital platforms
· Responsible for Regional / Local strategy and execution of scientific communication (such as manuscript, posters, etc.).
· Develops plans for medical booth activities (e g medical information, clinical studies awareness, or disease education) and leads execution of activities at key regional local congresses
· Develops plans for medical education activities at key congresses and leads execution of assigned
· Be accountable for the development and execution of the MCO Medical Roadmap, integrated Medical Action Plan and integrated Evidence Generation Plan (iEGP)
· Provide strategic leadership and oversight of projects and activities for the Medical team and work in close collaboration with other departments including brand teams and Public Affairs
· Work with various internal stakeholders to align on strategy including:
· Field Medical to ensure alignment of office-based and field-based activities as part of the MCO Medical Roadmap
· Global Medical team to ensure alignment of the MCO Medical strategy
· Additional cross-functional internal stakeholders to develop strategic imperatives and downstream strategies and tactics to support franchise goals
· Maintain portfolio mindset, serving as primary point of contact for near-term business and development licensing opportunities for the franchise
· Provide strategic guidance and insights on complex product and Medical issues
· Lead and drive the development of advanced Medical and scientific strategies for the portfolio therapeutic area, incorporating franchise-specific details and increased complexity
· Participate in the co-creation of the global Medical evidence generation plan and ensure Medical needs are accounted for and addressed
· Closely collaborate with evidence generation advisor and cross-functional partners to generate a large and complex evidence portfolio to support products in pre-/peri-launch phases
· Cultivate innovation mindset in supporting evidence generation plans for candidates in early development and providing country level insights for the long term portfolio / franchise strategy
· Conduct and maintain in-depth stakeholder engagement plan
· Identify and address challenges to optimal patient care through partnership with Systems of Care, Academic Medical Centers, HCPs, and other Professional Societies
· Provide a high scientific level of expertise within the MCO team; develop and lead collaborations with key experts in the field
· Maintain relationships with key professional societies and key experts
· Provide guidance on MCO products and related Medical issues and seek impactful insights
· Provide scientific education on disease states, epidemiology, and clinical trials of MCO products when relevant
· Lead external advisory boards focused on MCO products and pipeline
· Foster collaborations with key experts in the field, leveraging advanced scientific expertise
· Empower Medical advisor team/evidence generation advisor to oversee the design and execution of Sanofi-sponsored studies, including Ph 4 post-marketing and observational studies
· Coordinate investigator-initiated study (IIS) progress with Evidence Generation Advisor and Country Study Lead
· Work with R&D and Clinical Development teams to provide Medical input to design integrated evidence generation plans (iEGP) encompassing clinical development (Ph1-3) and post-marketing clinical trials (Ph4)
Education
Healthcare-related degree (pharmacy, nursing, laboratory sciences, public health, or related field)
Experience:
1. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly medical affairs for 3-5 years.
2. Clinical expertise: Experience in pharmaceutical practice or clinical practice or research is highly valued
