As a Key Account Manager, you’ll shape the future of healthcare in Thailand’s private hospital channel. Your strategic vision and execution will deliver life-changing solutions while driving sustainable growth for our business. This role is responsible for All Global Business Units (GBUs), Pharma and Vaccines portfolios. You’ll leverage your skills and relationships to unlock opportunities, manage accounts strategically, creating partnership activities with hospitals and deliver impactful solutions to private hospitals in Thailand.
Main responsibilities:
Build and nurture strong ties with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Key Decision Makers (KDMs) in your territory
Shape policies and drive strategic initiatives to fuel business growth
Business Planning & Execution:
Analyze market trends and data to prioritize opportunities
Partner with Sales & Marketing to craft and deliver joint business plans
Lead new product launches and expand existing offerings
Design campaigns, Monitoring and measuring the impact in your area i.e. gain more market share, VCR, secure product in hospital list to accelerate product adoption in hospitals
Tender Management:
Collaborate with the Tender team to develop winning strategies
Manage tender processes of group purchasing for selected hospitals, at central and territorial levels
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure all activities align with company ethics, policies, and standards
Deliver timely reports (e.g., itineraries, forecasts, progress updates)
Collaboration & Leadership:
Lead cross-functional projects with internal and external stakeholders
Inspire and influence teams with strong communication and negotiation skills
Drive innovation and champion a culture of change
About you
Education: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Medical Science, or related field
Language: Fluent in Thai and English
Travel: up to 20 % of travel may be expected
At least 5 years of experience in Key Account Management or other relevant roles e.g Sales Management, or Product Management
Proven track record in developing and executing successful projects / initiatives with customers to foster long-term partnership and drive strategic business growth
Deep understanding of the local pharmaceutical industry’s regulatory environment, market dynamics, and the specific needs and behaviours
Experience working with different go-to-market models to achieve business goals, working with both internal sales teams and external alliance / partner across various Global Business Units (GBUs).
Marketing experience both in house and with partners. Designing Campaigns with Hospital and company Marketing.
