Our Team:

Sanofi Business Operations (SBO) is an internal Sanofi multi-country organization setup to centralize processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions. Sanofi Business Operations strives to be a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations in Sanofi, globally.

Main responsibilities:

The Medical Advisor Roles for Specialty Care or Vaccines or GenMed will focus on certain Therapeutic Areas (TAs) and are seated in the Medical Tower in Business Operations. They play a pivotal role supporting the global & local teams supporting the portfolio of a respective TA via driving strategic initiatives and innovation, content development, literature review and insights preparation, strategy support, operational execution, and cross-functional collaboration for Medical and Communication Operations. The ideal candidate will have a robust background and knowledge in the respective therapeutic area, leadership skills, and a commitment to advancing medical knowledge and patient care.

Main responsibilities:

· Assist in providing medical and scientific input for clinical development programs.

· Support study site engagement in allocated markets, including coordination of site visits and communications.

· Collaborate with local clinical teams to help build strong relationships with investigators and facilitate patient recruitment.

· Contribute to literature reviews and preparation of medical insights, including site visits as necessary.

· Support the implementation of medical strategies under guidance from senior medical staff.

· Work closely with local medical and commercial teams to ensure alignment on key initiatives.

· Participate in cross-functional meetings with regulatory, clinical, and commercial teams to share medical perspectives.

· Support quality control, scientific accuracy and adherence to strategic vision by reviewing and adapting scientific content developed by the Medical Hub

· Help localize global medical content for use in regional communications and launches.

· Contribute to the development and maintenance of scientific materials in compliance with internal and external standards.

· Support the planning and execution of medical education activities aligned with global objectives.

· Assist in organizing advisory boards, roundtables, and other advocacy initiatives to engage healthcare professionals and gather insights.

· Help maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and external stakeholders

· Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards.

· Contribute to documentation and reporting processes to support transparency and quality assurance

Performance:

1) Maintain and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and ensure timely and high-quality delivery of medical and scientific content.

2) Strong analytical skills to assess information and emerging trends, including social, policy, and access-related information, and incorporate them into medical plans.

Process:

1) Provide medical strategic insights & evaluation related to Sanofi’s portfolio. 2) Act as an expert and provide reviews and oversight in the field of medical and scientific content.

Stakeholders:

1) Work closely with stakeholders to have an oversight to all activities related to product Lifecyle management, and their alignment with global franchise and country medical roadmaps.

2) Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and networking skills with the ability to work as part of a cross-functional and multicultural team.

About you

· Experience: ≥2 years of experience in international pharmaceutical companies preferred with , ≥1 years’ relevant experience in medical affairs, experience in brand planning, evidence generation, clinical research methodologies, and medical communications.

· Soft skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing, and networking skills, Stakeholder management; superb communication skills; Strong interpersonal and networking abilities in a cross-functional, multicultural team and ability to work independently and within a team environment

· Technical skills: As applicable (Including but not limited to Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, Medical operational excellence, time, and risk management skills, Excellent technical (medical) editing and writing skills, Excellent planning and project management skills with the ability to work independently)

· Education: Advanced degree in life sciences or pharmaceutical sciences (MD [preferred], PhD, PharmD)

· Languages: Excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written)
