Our Team:
Sanofi Business Operations–Global Medical services is an internal Sanofi resource organization based and is setup to centralize processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CHC, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions. SBO Medical services team strives to be a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, HEVA, and Commercial organizations in Sanofi, globally.
Sanofi Bogota Hub was established and joined the Sanofi Global Services Hub Network in 2022 to support Sanofi Americas region with best-in-class finance and human resources services with the addition of transversal expertise to manage complex projects and changes, as well as build continuous improvement, automation, and process enhancements. Our continuously growing team of talented Sanofians is developing and innovating to enhance Sanofi's services and contribute to the mission of chasing the miracles of science.
Main responsibilities:
- This position is responsible for chargeback deduction management. Chargeback deduction management involves timely analysis and resolution of chargeback deductions taken by wholesalers. Efforts should be made to resolve them within 60 days of origination to meet the Customer Invoice to Cash (CI2C) KPI measurement.
- Analyze SAP reports to identify open deductions.
- Analyze and research open deductions in the FLEX system to determine the reason for the deduction to determine validity. Collaborate with Chargebacks, Membership or Contract Administration Specialists as needed.
- Work with Wholesalers on deductions resolution until resolved.
- Set up conference calls with wholesalers as part of the follow up process until deductions are resolved.
- Provide write off recommendation of invalid deductions when collection efforts have been exhausted. Be in accordance with the write off policy for aged deductions.
- Liaison with CI2C Cash Applications team to clear outstanding deductions
- Provide monthly open deduction status updates via commentary on macro deduction sheet to A/R
- Present Quarterly open deduction updates to upper Management.
- System maintenance, UAT and other projects as needed.
- Additional responsibilities such as Chargeback processing and Purchase Markets support to be defined.
- People: The specialist will work in close cooperation with Cash Application Team, Credit & Accounts Receivable, Trade Customer Support, Chargebacks, Membership and Contract Administration colleagues and outsourced personnel.
- Tools: The position will involve working in FLEX (Revenue Management US) and SAP(SHIFT).
- Process: The list below is not comprehensive; this job is also responsible for other duties as assigned.
Participate in customer meetings and audits as required.Interact with Wholesaler Account Managers, Trade and Accounts Receivable as needed.Support departmental projects as required.Comply with all SOX requirements.
About you
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of finance or business experience. The candidate should have basic accounting skills as well as general knowledge of the chargebacks process and contract administration functions. Previous international experience desirable.

- Professional manner and tact.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Organized, accurate and detail oriented, disciplined and dedicated to superior quality work.
- Strong sense of commitment and teamwork.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines.
- Technical skills: Advanced Excel knowledge required, Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree with a Finance or Business concentration preferred.
- Languages: Fluency in English language (spoken and written)
