We are seeking a highly motivated Co-op to join a collaborative group in the Checkpoint cluster in our Immunology & Inflammation Research TA.  The candidate will be part of a dynamic team responsible for progressing projects in the preclinical research space.  A successful candidate will have a background in immunology and/or cell biology and have a demonstrated ability to integrate into multi-disciplinary project teams, contributing technical in vitro and in vivo skills.  Responsibilities will include in vitro cell culture, compound screening, flow cytometric analysis, and in vivo biology.

We are an innovative global healthcare company with one purpose: to chase the miracles of science to improve people’s lives. We’re also a company where you can flourish and grow your career, with countless opportunities to explore, make connections with people, and stretch the limits of what you thought was possible. Ready to get started?

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform experiments to characterize targets and pathways to select functional antibody or small molecule therapeutic candidates. Hands-on laboratory contribution is essential.

  • Maintain cell cultures and perform reporter assays as well as other in vitro assays including, but not limited to ELISA, MSD, and Flow Cytometry.

  • Assist with in vivo pharmacology studies by performing injections and assisting with sample collection.

  • Coordinate studies with team members or inter/intra cluster colleagues and platforms.

  • Generate, process, and present high-quality data to supervisor/immediate working group/program team.

  • Analyze, interpret, and document data and communicate results in team, group, and leadership settings.

  • Maintain a compliant laboratory notebook.

  • Provide and promote support for operational excellence according to Sanofi values and ethics.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated background in cell biology

  • Experience in aseptic technique for in vitro cell culture.

  • Experience in isolating and/or culturing primary human and mouse immune cells.
