The Mammalian Bioanalytics Characterization group, part of the Global CMC Development organization located in Framingham, Massachusetts, is seeking an Intern to join the team. The candidate will assist in studying and characterizing the degradation pathways of late-stage biologic therapeutics, which are a critical component of regulatory submissions to health authorities. These studies are essential for the development of stability-indicating methods that enable the monitoring of product degradation and the identification of critical quality attributes (CQAs).

Main responsibilities:

• Work with supervisor to plan, design, and execute experiments, analyze data, and interpret experimental results.

• Perform sample preparation tasks including solvent exchange and concentration

• Prepare and test protein samples using various analytical techniques (SEC, iCIEF, CE-SDS).

• Ensure timely completion and delivery of analytical results.

• Document results in an electronic lab notebook, author a technical report, present findings at internal meetings.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled and pursuing bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, biology, biochemistry, or related field at an accredited college or universitywith the expectation that you will complete yourcurrent degreeby the Spring of 2028.

• Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi.

• Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship.

• Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of protein/peptide science.

• Hands-on experience with protein sample preparation techniques.

• Hands-on experience with, or solid theoretical understanding of, analytical techniques (HPLC, CE-SDS, iCIEF).

• Good knowledge and skills in a biologic research lab setting and environment.

• Enthusiasm for scientifically demanding challenges.

• Interest in research and development in pharma and biotech industry.

• Good written and spoken communication skills.
