Sanofi Business Operations is an internal Sanofi resource organization setup to centralize processes and activities to support Sanofi global functions and business units, and serving as a strategic and functional partner.

The Ethics & Business Integrity (EBI) function at Sanofi is dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of ethical business practices while enabling innovation and operational excellence.

As a data analyst supporting the Ethics & Business Integrity for R&D and Medical, you'll contribute to the development of tailored solutions that enable scientific innovation while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

Main responsibilities:

• Analyze complex and large-scale data structures to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization.

• Able to translate business requirements into data language and work was process owners.

• Work extensively with SAP or CRM (healthcare) data sources, ensuring accurate extraction, transformation, and interpretation of data.

• Can create  SQL queries for data exploration, reporting, and validation.

• Can build prototypes, mockups, or data models to demonstrate analytical approaches and propose solution concepts.

• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements and provide actionable tasks to Data Engineers and Power BI Developers.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment with business goals.

• Prepare and deliver clear, compelling presentations of analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Support end-to-end project delivery through strong communication, coordination, and project management skills, ensuring timely and quality output.

• Maintain documentation, best practices, and standards for data processes and analytical methodologies.

People:

• Maintain effective relationship with internal peers and the end stakeholders

• Liaise and coordinate with colleagues in global and local teams to understand their requirements

Performance:

• Provide logical data models to development teams, as per agreed timeline

• Data Quality assessment: Identify abnormalities in the data monitored and ensure reflection in data model

Stakeholder:

• Work closely with global teams to ensure the end-to-end effective project delivery on time.

Process:

• Ensure on time and accurate delivery of all logical data model

• Pro-actively identifying analytical requirements

• Assist in managing analytical projects

About you

• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years' experience with analytical tools such as (SQL & Snowflake) and with analysis of complex data.

• Soft skills: Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and experience working in a global context

• Technical skills:

  • SQL (advanced): writing complex queries, optimizing performance, building views, stored procedures, and data validation logic.

  • Data Modeling: ability to design logical and conceptual data models; create analytical prototypes for business use cases.

  • SAP / CRM (Healthcare) Data: hands-on experience extracting, transforming, and analyzing data from SAP modules or healthcare-related CRM systems.

  • ETL / Data Pipelines: understanding of data flow design, ability to define requirements for Data Engineers (e.g., mapping, transformations, quality checks).

  • Visualization Tools: practical experience with Power BI, including building dashboards, KPIs, DAX basics, and guiding Power BI developers a big plus.

  • Prototyping Tools: ability to quickly build analytical prototypes using SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Python (optional).

  • Project & Requirement Tools: experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or similar tools for defining tasks and documenting requirements.

  • Basic Python for Analytics (if applicable): Pandas, Jupyter, basic statistical analysis (can be added or removed based on your needs).

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in information systems, computer science, communications, web/graphic design or related field

• Languages: Excellent knowledge in English and strong communication skills – written and spoken
