ABOUT THE JOB:
JOB PURPOSE:
To sell Sanofi products through a key account management process into targeted hospitals. Targeted hospitals includes both Private Sector and Public Sector Hospitals.
To ensure that the expected market share for all Sanofi products is realized in a commercially sustainable manner.
JOB DIMENSIONS :
Responsible for:
- Selling Sanofi products, on a key account basis, into the targeted Public - and Private Hospitals.
- Achieving the sales versus target performance for the Public Sector and Private Sector.
- Ensuring the positioning of the One Sanofi products in the targeted Private Hospitals (Vaccines, Speciality and Genmed).
- Maintaining adequate stock levels of Sanofi products in targeted hospitals to ensure access and utilisation.
- Directly managing the key hospitals, including the sales budget for the Public Hospitals (tenders) and Private Hospitals (formulary and opportunistic sales).
- Maintaining adequate coverage of the target hospitals in the respective regions through regular call cycles and service calls.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Sales vs. Target for the respective regions.
- Coverage of key hospitals in the Private and Public Sectors.
- Maintaining the planned sales mix in the respective pharmacies.
- Delivery of the commercial expectations for the Hospital Sector.
ABOUT YOU:
JOB-HOLDER ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
- Grade 12 with Exemption/Bachelor’s Pass
- Appropriate university degree at undergraduate level with a commercial focus.
Relevant Experience:
- Hospital sales experience, preferable.
- Knowledge of key account management processes.
- Commercial sales experience in pharmaceuticals.
Core Competencies:
Knowledge
- Human anatomy & physiology.
- Financial calculations & Excel.
- Code of Marketing Practice (certification).
- Healthcare legislation as pertains to marketing of pharmaceutical products.
Skills
- MS-Office suite of products.
- Ecellent communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and internal discipline.
- Demonstrates proactive thinking skills and ability to make decisions.
