Public Affairs Coordinator - Latam - VIE Contract

iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

About the job

As Public Affairs Coordinator - Latam VIE within our Corporate Affairs team, you will manage and conduct regional corporate activities for assigned projects in line with policy requirements. You will also provide operational support as needed on the different projects which include developing strategic stakeholders engagement plans, French-Mexican relations, bringing global initiatives and best practices into our main markets in LATAM (Mexico, Colombia and Argentina), as well as exploring partnerships which could bring value to Sanofi and our patients. Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate public affairs projects and initiatives across functions in the Latin America (LATAM) markets (Public Affairs, Market Access, Transformation, Communications).
  • Support strategic public policy initiatives (Support Sanofi’s diabetes portfolio, Industrial Policy Initiative) and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
  • Best practice sharing: share and implement best global practices to support projects in LATAM (Policy advocacy, innovation positioning, stakeholder engagement strategies).
  • Assist in developing and nurturing relationships with French authorities in Mexico (Embassy, Business France, French Chamber of Commerce, Club Santé).
  • Contribute to Sanofi’s representation in bilateral and multilateral forums involving French and Mexican institutions in partnership with Corporate Affairs lead.
  • Attending and participating in the corporate affairs and cross-functional project teams, providing clear and consistent policy recommendations.
  • Support government affairs and stakeholder engagement plans including generation of responses to Health Authority/government queries.
  • Track corporate affairs project status and prepare informational documents, power point presentations and position papers.
  • Coordinate required documentation with partners and functional groups for policy initiatives.

About you

Experience:

  • Pharma industry experience preferred.
  • Public policy or government affairs experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare policy landscape in LATAM region is a plus.

Soft and Technical skills:

  • Ability to analyze policy documents and understand their implications for the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Ability to produce written and oral policy communications with clarity, accuracy and rigor.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, healthcare systems, and policy environments in LATAM.
  • Knowledge of local and global pharmaceutical and health-related regulations and policies.
  • Ability to have a rapid and solid expertise in electronic document management systems (Veeva vault, Plai), with a great interest in AI.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with cross-functional teams, by managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong project management skills and cross-country Project management.
  • Previous experience with French representative bodies is a plus.

Education:

  • Master’s degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, Healthcare Management, or related field.

Languages:

  • Fluent in English.
  • Spanish level B2.
  • French would be an advantage.
