Corporate Affairs (Comms & CSR) Manager

Corporate, Brand and Policy Media Communications

  • Implement integrated corporate and brand communications that raise visibility of Sanofi’s vision and offerings, strengthen corporate reputation, and enhance the organization’s profile in key therapy areas.

  • Develop and execute corporate reputation programs aligned with Sanofi’s global strategy, ensuring consistent narrative across internal and external communications.

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to ensure that our people are fully engaged with Take the Lead priorities.

  • Lead the roll-out of the Sanofi Brand and establish industry leadership around Innovation, DE&I, and Sustainability.

  • Deliver communications strategies that generate strong impact across brands, consolidate market positioning, and secure the potential of products within the portfolio.

  • Lead long-term and in-depth Policy Media Communication projects to support Sanofi’s Launch Powerhouse strategy, ensuring alignment with Market Access and Public Affairs.

  • Capture policy and market momentums and integrate perspectives from policy, patients, and media into multi-dimensional communication strategies.

  • Conduct issue management communications to protect corporate/brand reputation through strategic message framing, media interactions, environment monitoring, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to design and implement brand-related disease awareness campaigns that educate the public and improve timely access to appropriate treatment.

  • Manage external communication channels strategically, including corporate website and LinkedIn.

  • Handle media enquiries proactively and reactively, providing accurate information, clear messaging, and effective liaison with media outlets.

Sustainability Programs (CSR)

  • Shape and execute high-value CSR actions in line with Sanofi’s global impact strategy.

  • Assess CSR management against best-practice frameworks, stakeholder expectations, and competitor benchmarks; identify strengths, gaps, opportunities, and risks.

  • Implement and promote CSR narrative and associated internal/external communications to magnify social impact.

  • Plan and scale up multiple CSR programs simultaneously under the Sustainability 2.0 strategy, driving coalition building with diverse stakeholders in Korean society.

Internal Communications

  • Develop and implement internal communication strategy and projects to improve employee engagement into our vision and company/business priorities.

  • Implement MCO townhall meeting to convey Take the Lead strategy properly, share best practices, and embed our strategies into employees’ day-to-day work.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support broader internal communication initiatives, ensuring alignment and enhancing employee engagement across the organization.

  • Manage the internal communication channels impactfully and strategically including Viva Engage, internal notifications, and executive messages to improve employee engagement into Take the Lead strategies.

Management of Resources

  • Accurately raise Purchase Requisitions with information provided by requestor and ensure such information is correct.

  • Update systems in a timely way to reflect the current status of purchase orders and any deliveries of goods and services.

  • Attend to invoice system requests and queries quickly and efficiently.

Ethical Leadership

  • Take personal accountability to use personal experience and knowledge, as well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role (including the Industry Code of Practice, Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements); and demonstrate personal leadership in applying these to all work undertaken.

  • Escalate any decisions, or seek the support of colleagues or management, if personal knowledge and understanding is not at the level required to carry out any part of the role.

Environmental and Safety Leadership

  • Care for own safety and wellbeing and the safety of others, and co-operate with the company to ensure a safe place of work. Employees are therefore expected to:

    • Support and conform to company safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

    • Report any accident, incident or near miss, whether it be of personal injury or property damage.

    • Assist in the investigation of accidents with the objective of introducing measures to prevent recurrence.

    • Thoroughly read all safety documentation issued by the company and comply with its requirements. Escalate any doubts or uncertainties to supervisor and/or manager.

    • Ensure the overview and management of arrangements for the health, safety and wellbeing of their team, maintaining compliance with legislative requirements and with the company’s policies and annual PASS (Health and Safety Plan) documents.

    • Ensure that all new employees undertake HSE Induction Training.

    • Ensure that employees receive sufficient information, instruction and training to carry out work safely.

    • Where an employee is required to drive a motor vehicle for their role, ensure that the appropriate professional driving skills training is completed and reviewed.

    • Regularly include health, safety and wellbeing matters on the agenda of departmental meetings.

    • Investigate, report and record, with the assistance of the HSE Manager, all accidents and near misses, however slight.

Skills, Experience & Knowledge Requirements

  • 13+ years of experience successfully executing Communications/PR/Corporate Affairs/CSR responsibilities to deliver towards company strategy.

  • Broad-based knowledge of Sanofi’s product portfolio, strategy, company and services.

  • Advanced expertise in the communications field including internal/external communications, PR, brand communications, and policy media communications.

  • Fluent in both Korean and English.
