As a Junior Financial Analyst based in Bogotá, you will be part of a dynamic Finance Operations team that drives efficiency and supports strategic decision-making across the organization. This role offers the opportunity to work transversally with different business areas, contributing to financial planning, reporting, and analysis. You will gain exposure to multinational operations, leverage tools such as SAP and Excel, and develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills while supporting the company’s growth and transformation journey.

As Junior Financial Analyst within our Finance Operations team, you’ll support financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities, ensuring accuracy and driving efficiencies while gaining valuable exposure to multinational operations and contributing to Sanofi’s finance transformation journey.

Main responsibilities:

• Support monthly and quarterly closing activities by preparing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of financial data.

• Analyze results and trends to identify risks, opportunities, and provide insights for management review.

• Prepare financial reports and variance analyses to support decision-making across business units.

• Maintain and update financial master data in systems, ensuring correctness and consistency.

• Partner with finance colleagues and business leaders to provide clear, timely financial support.

• Contribute to process improvements by identifying simplification opportunities and implementing more efficient ways of working.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

About you

• Experience:

• Minimun 2 years of experience in the related field.

• Soft and technical skills:

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.

• Advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables, formulas, macros) and ability to manage multiple systems and tools.

• Effective communicator with solid written and oral skills.

• Ability to build partnerships and credibility with stakeholders across different levels and regions.

• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Adaptable, proactive, and comfortable in complex, fast-paced environments.

• Technology savvy, eager to learn, and motivated to grow professionally.

• Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior in challenging situations.

• Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required

• Languages:

• English: B1 or better

• Portuguese is a plus
