Main responsibilities:

• Deliver GL monthly closing & reporting services to Budapest HUB

• Perform monthly closing activities as per Group timetable

• Prepare management, tax, legal and statutory reporting at Group and country levels

• Address operational issues and follow through to resolution in an effective and timely manner

• Deliver operational KPIs and comply with Sanofi policies and guidelines

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives

The Closing & Reporting Accountant reports to the Closing & Reporting Team Lead and works closely with Finance (Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Internal Control...), other Budapest HUB departments, Customer Service and the A2R team.

About you

Experience:

• Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance,

• Some relevant experience in accounting, closing & reporting processes and activities.

Soft skills:

• Ability to interact with internal clients in a professional manner

• Good communication skills,

• Has an analytical approach,

• Self-motivated, well organized, hard-working, detail-minded, clear thinker, quick learner,

• Well-inclined towards change and has the ability to work under pressure,

• Team player, able to work collaboratively transversally and with front line teams with an end-to-end mindset,

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and expertise of MS Excel.

Education:

• Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance.

Languages:

• Excellent English,

• French knowledge is a plus.
