Join our dynamic Budapest Hub Controlling Operations (ContOps) Service Delivery Transversal organization, where innovation drives performance across Sanofi. As a Continuous Improvement & Process Excellence Specialist, you will be instrumental in transforming our operations through standardization, harmonization, and process optimization. This strategic role reports directly to the ContOps Transversal Service Delivery Head and positions you as a key change agent within our organization. 

Your Impact

You will drive excellence by standardizing processes, ensuring adherence to documentation standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and process owners, you will lead initiatives that standardize, simplify, and digitalize critical business processes to deliver measurable value to the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Continuous Improvement Culture
  • Lead process standardization and simplification initiatives while building LEAN capabilities across teams
  • Manage the CI Project Portfolio: coordinate, monitor, and quantify process improvement initiatives
  • Support strategic improvement projects aligned with organizational objectives
  • Facilitate CI training programs to develop employee competencies in LEAN methodologies
  • Identify process improvement and automation opportunities through stakeholder collaboration
  • Provide mentorship to teams implementing smaller process improvement initiatives
  • Coordinate cross-functional dependencies to maximize synergy and efficiency
  • Implement effective change management strategies to ensure successful adoption
• Monitor Process Performance
  • Deliver insightful reports to leadership on project status, risks, and performance metrics
  • Develop and monitor KPIs that measure process efficiency, delivery performance, and value creation
  • Identify trends and opportunities for operational excellence
• Collaborate with Global Process Owners
  • Ensure adherence to Core Model across service lines in partnership with Global Process Experts
  • Reduce fragmented scope and drive enhancement initiatives on behalf of SD teams
  • Lead Knowledge Management initiatives and process documentation simplification (e.g., Signavio)
  • Manage Process and activity catalogue, including data collection, FTE validation, and taxonomy alignment

Risk Management & Controls

• Coordinate internal control documentation implementation and maintenance
• Support audit preparation and serve as an escalation point during audits
• Partner with Internal Control and Internal Audit stakeholders to address compliance requirements
• Develop and implement action plans to address audit findings

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5-8+ years of relevant experience in process improvement or operational excellence
• Experience working in cross-cultural, international environments
• Fluent English required
•      Advanced Excel skills, must be able to download data and use pivot tables, V-look ups, macros, etc
•     Power BI is a plus
