External Job Description – Supply Chain Project Manager

Location: Framingham, MA Northborough, MA

Lead and manage all aspects of assigned Supply Chain projects to support improvements to operations at the MA BioCampus, with a primary focus on rapid product launches from the Northborough facility for the US market. This role drives project execution using a structured project management approach aligned with the company's Stage Gate methodology for capital projects, ensuring successful planning, coordination, and deliver.

Main Responsibilities:

Project Execution and Management

• Leading and managing Supply Chain projects, ensuring they meet defined objectives, timelines, and budgets. In alignment with Head of Supply Chain’s projects & performance
• Developing project plans, setting milestones, and tracking progress throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinating with various departments to allocate the necessary resources (personnel, materials, equipment) for project execution.
• Managing project resources effectively to optimize their usage and maintain efficient project flow.
• Collecting relevant data to support decision-making processes within the project.
• Conducting data analysis to inform project adjustments and improvements as needed.
• Aware of ongoing projects (global & local) impacting Site Supply Chain

New launches:

• Ensure Supply Chain input for industrialization, life cycle management
• Ensure proper handover of industrialization project to Supply Chain Launch/ Lifecycle lead (Supply Chain readiness production plan, raw material sourcing, and clinical demand)

Site Supply Chain Performance

• Monthly Supply Chain Performance review at PCU / APU and site level including root cause analysis and follow-up action plan
• Regularly reporting on project status, challenges, and outcomes to the Head of Supply Chain and other stakeholders.

Required Profile:

• BS – project management, business or related field – required. MS – preferred.
• 5+ years of project management experience in an industrial or pharmaceutical environment – preferred.
• Strong understanding of supply chain flows and GMP constraints
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
