Sanofi has currently the best and most robust pipeline of R&D and consequent new launches of our history. As new phase of Play-To-Win strategy, funding this pipeline and new launches is key to materialize the miracles of the science to improve people lives. Thus, as we enter the next phase, modernization of Sanofi is required as per the recent announcements on DRIVE, and in this respect, we are in the beginning stages of organizing the Go-to-Market Capabilities (GTMC) team at global level. 

The GTMC organization will help us to drive best-in-class capabilities across the board and bring value and excellence in our commercial operations. This move is a key part of the aimed modernization of Sanofi and will allow us to focus on our priorities across our products, market and pipeline through the reallocation of resources and realizing the efficiencies of removing silos that exist between our business units, avoiding the duplication and overlapping of resources, standardizing our processes and tools, operating with a One Sanofi approach to accelerate our key capabilities development, and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit by speeding up the decision making.

As Manager - Web Development within our Hyderabad Hub in the Web and Social Media Operations Team, you'll be pivotal in crafting and executing innovative web solutions that elevate our digital presence, ensuring seamless functionality and impactful user experiences across platforms.  

Main responsibilities:

The overall purpose and main responsibilities are listed below:  

Drive the Web and Social Media Operations Hub strategy and operationalization focusing on web development and social media/digital presence optimization. Lead automation and integration of web development process with AI enabled tools/platforms (as relevant). Collaborate with Content Powerhouse/Content Operations Hub and other cross-functional teams to facilitate content update/dissemination and ensure effective user engagement. 

  • Manage budget allocation and vendor relationships crucial for web development and digital marketing tools 

  • Guide the team for design and development of user-friendly websites with responsive layouts 

  • Drive implementation of new features and enhancements based on business needs 

  • Supervise content updates across websites and social media platforms to ensure a cohesive and engaging user experience across all digital touchpoints

  • Coordinate compliance checks to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and engages target audiences effectively 

  • Secure adherence to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with all applicable standards; implement security and data protection measures  

  • Recommend and implement improvements to enhance website performance and user experience 

  • Coordinate with internal team (Web Search/Performance/Content Operations) to ensure the website structure and framework supports best-in-class customer experience aligned with Omnichannel/GTMC pillars and customer engagement strategy 

  • Establish processes for utilization of latest tools/technologies/methodologies and partner with internal teams to continuously improve website aesthetics/user experience as per Global industry standards 

About you  

  • Experience:  >8 years of experience in web development with a portfolio showcasing proficiency. Desirable experience in content management system (CMS). Desirable experience in pharmaceuticals / healthcare industry and scientific context mediation. 2-4 years of multichannel/omnichannel marketing strategy, campaign planning and execution experience is desirable 

  • Soft skills:  Stakeholder management. Good written and verbal communication skills . Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage completing work activities 

  • Technical skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks. Previous experience with Magnolia and other back-end development frameworks and content management systems (CMS). Knowledge of web analytics tools, version control systems (e.g., Git), and web security best practices 

  • Education:  University degree level (Graduate degree, preferably in computer science/engineering/life sciences, or related field). Advanced degree in computer science/engineering/management/business analytics/life sciences/similar discipline desirable 

  • Languages:  Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
