Our commitment to cutting‑edge clinical research, translational science, and data‑driven development enables us to transform the practice of medicine, turning what once seemed impossible into meaningful outcomes for patients. As one of the industry’s leading investors in life sciences and R&D, we focus on advancing innovative therapies, elevating clinical trial excellence, and addressing unmet medical needs across the globe. Our scale, strong connections within health ecosystems across leveraging the world, and ability to leverage Sanofi’s capabilities make us the best place to push the boundaries of medicine through technology.
The Site Insights and Enrollment position is designed to fundamentally elevate Sanofi’s global country and site selection strategies, clinical trial scenario planning, and operational predictability. By integrating advanced AI/ML performance modeling, patient‑matching intelligence, agentic AI workflows, and robust recruitment simulation, this position will drive a innovation that will deliver faster and more reliable trial execution. These insights directly accelerate time to Last Patient In (LPI), strengthen planning accuracy across Clinical Development, and enable higher‑quality operational decisions, contributing to Sanofi’s ambition to halve the time from discovery to launch, driven largely by gains in development efficiency.
The Product Owner, Site Insights and Enrollment will play a critical role in shaping and advancing these capabilities. This individual will drive the design, delivery, and adoption of innovative data‑ and AI‑enabled solutions that address Sanofi’s most pressing development challenges. The role directly contributes to transforming clinical feasibility, site strategy, and planning excellence across the R&D organization.
Key strategic objectives of the role include:
Accelerate LPI by transforming site identification, feasibility, recruitment execution, and startup planning through intelligent, data‑driven decision support.
Reduce operational burden by optimizing site footprint, protocol feasibility assessments, and recruitment plans using AI‑enabled feasibility modernization.
De‑risk cross‑functional recruitment planning through predictive modeling that strengthens critical‑path timelines and mitigates uncertainty.
Enhance alignment across R&D planning verticals by strengthening the consistency and transparency of site intelligence, scenario modeling, and forecasting inputs.
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in translating complex scientific and operational requirements into actionable product objectives that drive our agile development processes. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional Clinical Science and Operations teams to ensure digital solutions align with scientific and operational objectives, enhance trial planning efficiency, and support Sanofi’s innovation goals. Your deep expertise in clinical development, trial feasibility platforms, and processes will be essential for identifying opportunities to automate, optimize, and modernize workflows across the research and early development lifecycle.
This role provides a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic team, fully empowered to propose and implement innovative ideas enabling and leveraging AI, ML, and Agentic AI concepts. This role will also provide hands-on experience on collaborating with diverse vendors and major internal & external stakeholders.
