About the job 

The Training Department primary responsibility is to ensure there is an adequate Training Structure in place to ensure all employees have the required knowledge and skills to perform their jobs. To ensure this structure is in place the Training Department must coordinate with the areas to ensure proper assignment of training, evaluation of training. The Training Department strive to foster a learning culture where effective training and continuous improvement results in a well-trained work force with the right capabilities who will deliver products for patients.  

Main responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing annual training programs to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company standards
• Collaborating with department heads to identify training needs and developing customized training plans
• Supporting the managers in the establishment of the curricula for the different areas
• Developing training materials with the support of the relevant subject matter expert to address the training needs and plans 
• Conducting training sessions for new hires and existing employees on specific topics   Monitoring the completion of the training plan to identify risks and weaknesses             
• Evaluating training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics 
•   Updating training materials with the support of the relevant subject matter expert to reflect changes in regulations, procedures, and best practices
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance training material and processes  Providing support during regulatory inspections and audits by presenting training records and training process and material
• Establish and prioritize training objectives for the site
• Advise department heads on training needs
• Decide on training content and delivery methods
• Advise on improvements based on training evaluations
• Advise on continuous improvement initiatives

About you

• Degree Qualification in Science, Training or HR discipline
• Experience working in a manufacturing organisation
• Previous experience working with an LMS desirable
• Good communications skills
• Knowledge and interpretation of regulatory requirements for T&D area in healthcare
• Knowledge of systematic approach to training and training best practice
