Sanofi is starting an accelerated journey for all our sites to improve performance and transform into digital plants: paperless in all operations, capturing and leveraging data, changing the user experience from shopfloor to management.
To meet these challenges, Manufacturing & Supply has built a unique production system leveraging Lean and Digital, called the Sanofi Manufacturing System (SMS), reflecting the company's mindset, culture, and industrial heritage.
The main impact expected for the Smart Factory & Program Lead is to support the site to reach the targeted level of performance related to the Sanofi strategy
Main responsibilities:
- Directly: Simplification, standardization and digitalization processes are the main activities that enabling transparency and data-driven decision making driving performance & transformation initiatives (e.g., SMS 2.0 deployment, boosters, new solutions, etc.).
- Ensuring impact & sustainability supporting the continuous improvement initiatives identified in the APU/PCU functions linked to the site goals and works strictly with the CIs to align the performance priorities.
- Drive: promoting data analytics at site level in collaboration with KPI & Performance Analytics Lead Train / coach staff on the importance of KPIs and how to use performance data effectively (visual communication and data visualization).
- Implement best practices and standardize working methods: developing, owning, and maintaining the Site Digital Roadmap working in collaboration with Digital, Global Functions, and Business Owners, to define a prioritized portfolio digital projects to deliver business continuity, modernization and performance, including Core models, Smart Factory solutions and local applications.
- Provide: contributing to the development of operating standards in close partnership with dedicated ecosystem leaders and supporting M&S network (e.g Maturity Assessment execution, SMS Trainer…).
- Manage: Digital budget - resource allocation for performance & transformation initiatives.
About you
- Experience: Experience and agility on digital tool supporting project execution and monitoring; Strong knowledge of project management and project portfolio management in a manufacturing site environment, with a proven experience in managing complex projects; Exposure to Production, Supply Chain, Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, Project Investment, Finance, Quality, and Regulatory Requirements; Former experiences in Agile project management are a preferential title.
- Soft and technical skills: Knowledge of SMS operating standards (certification) & main Operational Excellence techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, CI, etc.); Good knowledge of the constraints and regulations in force in the pharmaceutical industry (GxP, FDA, etc.); Good understanding of data management & IA digital products embedded into the SMS operating standards (e.g. eOEE, FaCT, iOBeya, DEC, eBR); Information Technology background with experience in Programming languages, Data Modelling and SQL software; SAP modules expertise (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP); Team working; Intermediate to advanced user in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
- Education: Scientific bachelor degree preferably in Information Technology or chemical/biochemical Experience in project Management and Team coordination.
- Languages: Fluent with Italian and English.
