About the job
Sanofi Manufacturing & Supply has around 12 manufacturing sites per Region, the sites are grouped by 2 or 5 in cluster. Head of cluster Facility Management will be responsible for driving Integrated Facility service delivery performance and Supplier Management, implementing best practices, standardizing ways of working across a cluster.

This department is part of the Global Engineering, and he is supporting M&S sites.
Main responsibilities
Directly
- New recipe development and optimization for AVI machine for vials/ampoules: lyophilized, liquid, suspension products
- Support FAT-SAT, qualification and PQ activities for AVI
- Evaluate and support vision system issues
- Liaison with vendor, global SMEs, Engineering group to ensure AVI process has minimum false rejects
Drive
- Responsible to train/mentor new and current associates on the visual inspection program that include recipe creation and tuning, troubleshooting and recipe management
- Implement best practices and standardize working methods in a cluster
- Working with process experts and quality group to ensure compliance of AVI process with the global standards and regulatory agency requirements
- Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives
Provide
- Support to new product introductions and capacity expansions, including new vendor selections, maintenance planning, design changes, change controls, OEE improvement, yield improvement
Manage
- Lead systematic technical root cause investigations
About you
Experience
- experience working with visual inspection equipment in a pharmaceutical cGMP environment or equivalent
Soft and technical skills
- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of the application software for automatic inspection machines
- Experience in diagnostic on PLC and SCADA networks integrated in business networks or LAN networks
- Experience in maintenance and repair of camera vision systems
- Experience in configuring electric motor drives of the following companies: Hitachi, Danfoss, Omron, Siemens, ABB
- Basic knowledge of mechanical and electronic phase and related devices
- Basic knowledge of pneumatic logic
- Capability to review the equipment technical documentations in order to assure the compliance versus international GMP regulations as Block Flow Diagram, of Process Flow Diagram, P&ID’s, data sheets of equipment, Technical Specification/URS
- Deep understanding of GMP and CMC requirements by health authorities and experience in preparation and reviews of regulatory dossiers and interactions
- Effective communication and people skills
- Experience and ability to operate in multidisciplinary and multi-cultural teams
- Experience in participating in transformation programs to accelerate development, technology transfer, validation, and manufacturing support
- Availability to national and international mission if required
Education
- Degree in electrical, mechanical and/or other applicable engineering field required, Advanced Science degree is preferred
Languages
- Fluent with Italian and English
