Main responsibilities:

• Oversee daily security operations including 24/7 security coverage, visitor management, access control, and coordination with external security service providers to ensure the highest standards of protection.
• Identify and mitigate emerging threats by conducting regular risk assessments, implementing proactive security measures, and deploying corporate security requirements across the site.
• Lead security process improvements following internal audit recommendations, maintaining efficiency through regular self-assessments and controls of physical security measures.
• Manage security implications of site changes by coordinating with stakeholders during ongoing layout modifications and operational evolution, ensuring seamless integration of security protocols.
• Support crisis management by coordinating incident response, reporting security issues, and implementing corrective measures in collaboration with site leadership and local law enforcement.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across internal teams, site management, external security partners, and local police to create a collaborative security ecosystem.
• Champion security culture by delivering training and awareness programs, organizing induction sessions for new employees and contractors, and embedding security mindset across the organization.

About you 

• Relevant security experience in industrial, manufacturing, or regulated environments with proven success in managing security operations and stakeholder relationships.
• Strong risk assessment mindset with the ability to identify vulnerabilities, conduct security evaluations, and implement practical, effective solutions.
• Contractor and contract management expertise, ensuring service delivery meets expectations and maintaining quality standards across external security providers.
• Change management and process improvement skills with a proactive approach to driving continuous enhancement of security processes and systems.
• Knowledge of security legislation, access control systems, and supply chain security (or demonstrated willingness to develop this expertise with support from our team).
• Safety-first mentality with commitment to the belief that every incident is preventable through culture, accountability, and organizational excellence.
• Discretion and integrity to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism, rigor, and sound judgment.
• Fluent English and Dutch (written and oral) for effective communication, reporting, and collaboration across our international network.
