Job Purpose
The Strategic Partnerships & Projects Manager, Vietnam reports to the Vaccines Business Operations, Partnerships & Projects Lead and is responsible for the operational execution of strategic partnerships, cross-functional project coordination, and stakeholder engagement activities. This role serves as the operational backbone for partnership management, PMO coordination, and governance processes, ensuring seamless execution of initiatives across internal teams and external partners. The role focuses on relationship management, project facilitation, and process coordination to support the Lead in delivering business objectives for Vaccines in Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Partnerships Management (MAMP, EPI)
- Execute partnership initiatives and day-to-day relationship management with key accounts and strategic partners under the Lead's strategic direction
- Coordinate operational aspects of partnership activities to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and MCO-level strategies
- Support partners in implementing collaborative initiatives and ensuring appropriate public access levels
- Monitor partnership performance and provide regular updates to the Lead on due milestones, potential issues and opportunities
- Facilitate communication and coordination between internal teams and external partners
- Prepare partnership documentation, meeting materials, and Progress reports for Lead review, relevant governance meetings (Project Follow-Up meeting, Steering Committee meeting) and external stakeholder engagement
- PMO & Cross-functional Project Coordination
- Act as project coordinator (PMO) for operational initiatives, process improvements, and routine business projects, including One Sanofi projects where needed, and other external projects (MoU with external stakeholders and authorities…)
- Organize and facilitate regular meetings, governance processes, and working sessions across internal stakeholders
- Coordinate day-to-day operational activities with the Board of Directors of local Vietnamese partners where needed
- Support routine legal entity coordination activities and administrative processes for country lead
- Prepare operational reports, meeting materials, and documentation to support executive and MCO-level interactions
- Coordinate operational aspects of local projects and provide administrative support for global initiatives
- Coordinate routine interactions with governmental authorities on administrative and legal entity topics, as required
- Facilitate day-to-day cross-functional collaboration and information sharing between Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, Public Affairs, Finance, and Supply Chain teams
- Governance & Meeting Coordination
- Coordinate and schedule governance meetings including Country Business Update (CBU), Leadership Team meetings, and MCO/Regional/Global visit agendas
- Prepare slide decks, presentations, and supporting materials for governance forums and leadership meetings
- Take meeting minutes, document decisions, and maintain action item trackers for all governance meetings
- Monitor and track implementation of decisions and action items from governance meetings, providing regular status updates to the Lead
- Coordinate logistics and preparation for MCO, Regional, and Global stakeholder visits, including agenda setting, briefing materials, and follow-up documentation
- Organize ad-hoc meetings and working sessions as required, ensuring appropriate stakeholder participation and preparation
- Maintain governance meeting calendars, documentation repositories, and ensure timely distribution of materials to participants
- Facilitate pre-meeting preparation sessions and post-meeting follow-up activities to ensure effective execution
- Crisis Cell Coordination
- Act as the designated Crisis Cell Coordinator to ensure the standard responsibilities of the role are covered, including ensuring Crisis Cell team is maintained, facilitating crisis lifecycle and preparing situation reports.
- Compliance
- Ensure adherence to Sanofi SOPs, local legislation, and ethical standards in all partnership and project activities
- Support governance processes and maintain documentation standards across all managed activities
- Promote compliance culture within partnership relationships and project teams

- You will act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing exceptional service and support to drive mutual success
About you
Education
University degree required (Business, Life Sciences, or related field)
Experience
- 5–7 years of experience in partnership management, project management, or commercial roles within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Proven track record of managing partnerships, alliances, and cross-functional projects
- Experience in government relations, public procurement, or distribution partnership management is highly desirable
- Prior experience in vaccines or specialty healthcare is an advantage
- Experience working in Vietnam or Southeast Asia markets is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects and deliver results in a matrixed organization

- Project Management: Excellent organizational and coordination skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong ability to engage and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders at various levels
- Communication & Facilitation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong meeting facilitation capabilities
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural, and matrixed environment
- Process Management: Strong attention to detail with ability to manage governance processes and documentation
- Analytical Skills: Good analytical and problem-solving capabilities to support decision-making processes
- Language Skills: Full professional proficiency in English and Vietnamese is mandatory
