About the job

As a member of Vaccines Regional Leadership team, you hold the responsibility of:

• Supporting the development and execution of the regional strategy to drive business growth and achieve financial targets
• Optimizing the go-to-market models and accelerating modernization of the operations
• Coordinating pre-launch readiness across the Region
• Leading transversal regional projects.

KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Collaborate with leadership to define the organization's strategic priorities
• Lead strategic planning processes, including goal setting, resource allocation, and performance measurement
• Lead go-to-market strategy with country teams and accelerate OCE ramp up for optimal and efficient engagement
• Support the execution of the regional strategy to drive business growth and achieve financial targets
• Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives
• Support the Head of the Region by regularly reviewing business updates, highlight business risks, opportunities and relevant action plans
• Support the decision-making process through developing informed business case with required stakeholders
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against strategic objectives and identify areas for improvement
• Coordinate pre-launch readiness plans across the Region
• Lead transversal regional projects to support modernization efforts and ensure digital/AI ramp up at scale.

Cross Functional Collaboration with:

• Vaccines Country Heads and MCO GMs.
• Vaccines Franchise teams.
• Vaccines Medical teams.
• Vaccines Supply & BOD teams.
• Finance teams at the country and regional level.
  • GTMC Team.
  • Other leadership team members within Region.

Occasional Contact with:

• Other GBU heads in the region.
• Legal, Ethic & Business Integrity.
• Market Access.
• Public Affairs.

EXTERNAL

Could be involved with:

• External stakeholders related to International organizations, partnerships, Health Authorities, Distributors.

ABOUT YOU:

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Experience:

• Min 10 years of related experience in commercial, marketing, project management, preferably previous P&L management experience and previous external stakeholder management experience.
• High level of financial acumen and business understanding.
• Experience in country, above the country roles and must exhibit strong and inspirational.
• Experience in business excellence and Omnichannel engagement is a plus.

Skills:

• Leadership skills without having formal authority.
• High digital literacy and understanding of engagement models.
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, problem solving and transversal working skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work and influence within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment.

 Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Marketing or equivalent fields.
• Post-graduate degree in Strategic Management or Project Management.

Language:

• English and Portuguese
