Job title: Senior Engineer II

Reporting to the Head of Site Process and Technology, the job holder will be subject matter expert of Autonomous Production Unit (APU) when assigned in supporting the operations & engineering team on process technology and developing science driven solution.

Site Level Accountabilities:

• Provide expertise, professional advice, and guidance to the site HoDs, he/she will lead the technology transfer of new product & ideation of technology for process simplification.

• Collaborate with Global MSAT and Operational excellence team in yield improvements project to deliver cost savings of at least 0.5M€

• Support Sanofi global and external regulatory audit as site product owner.

Functional Level Accountabilities:

• Lead for Process Performance Qualification and qualification of associated equipment by planning the activities and oversee the progress of the qualification.

• Lead the root cause analysis for process robustness deviations (Eg. DMAIC), propose and implement the CAPA in deviation reports. Actively link with other troubleshooting functions including PCU QA Specialist and PCU Asset Care Specialist in Technical department.

• Perform technical and quality impact assessment for the new CI projects, plant modifications, process changes to ensure all modifications to plant, process and any risks have been reviewed and assessed appropriately from a process engineering viewpoint to ensure no unintended negative impact.

• Lead continued process verification trends (CPP, CQA, & Yield), identify improvement levers and identify/ prioritize and plan process robustness initiatives including aligning with the Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist, QA specialist and MSAT.

• Lead product and cleaning life cycle management of existing commercial products as API product owner

About You:

• Minimum 10 years experience in API plant MSAT function.

• Knowledge of process chemistry & engineering, hands on experience on API technology, plant operations, continued process verification, PAT and process control/automated systems.

• Good collaboration skill and good business acumen

• Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.

• Master’s in Chemical Engineering (Optional)

• Language Proficiency: Fluent in English
