Main Responsibilities:
S&OE (Sales and Operations execution)
Facilitate regular touchpoint on S&OE horizon (0-3m) with SC Product Planner from GBU SC
Ensure follow up on site actions to meet net demand Provide critical information/ deviations on production schedule changes and changes in batch releases to SC Product Planner
Review 0-3months demand exception during S&OE meeting with GBU SC
Collaborate with the Site Scheduler on frozen horizon supply risks (i.e. delay of production which requires prioritization / allocation) and escalates to Supply Planner
Monitor forecast accuracy and Bias by market GMID that is contributing to schedule instability. Escalate in case of recurring forecast discrepancies to GBU SC.
Production execution flow (0-3m)
Manage Flow Execution: Oversee key steps in the Level 1 operating unit, projecting lead times for product documentation, testing, and release activities.
Consolidating Site E2E lead times and step deadlines together with Level 2 leadership, cross-checking with available capacity that is based on resources and Standard Work in each Level 1 operating unit.
Update regularly (at least each quarter) the standard lead time in ERP (SAP) including GRPT time (Global Release Process Time) to stick to demonstrated release cycle time.
Coordinate release Planning and Prioritization: Manage batch prioritization and release planning based on market needs, ensuring FIFO at the final step
Coordinating with FaCT participants to make sure each step is completed in time by operations (responsible of Lead Time & WIP in FaCT).
Identify factors causing schedule instability, propose corrective actions Update weekly individual lot planned Release Date (QM lot) in ERP (e.g., Athena)
for significant deviations (or other important event) according to Position paper GQCMS-QU-PP-0000785 and alert to SC Product Planner to foresee transportation mode change (i.e. sea to air to avoid OOS)
Provides feedback to the PCU in case of recurring issues on satisfying the demand
Escalate Flow Issues: Monitor daily flow in FACT, addressing backlog issues, and escalating to PCU leadership team when necessary (Backlog > 50% of weekly load, etc.)
PCU Flow Controller led the E2E Flow pillar in the other ecosystems (FF, QC, QA).Monitoring APUs’ performance and capability analysis in collaboration with the Head of Supply Chain projects and performance and the Global Supply Planning team. Escalate short term load vs capacity imbalances at monthly Site supply review meeting.
Stock policies and inventory optimization
Collaborate with Product Leaders to ensure product demand is met and identify risks of out of stock. If relevant, coordinates with other sites demand managers to resolve supply conflicts.
Ensure that stocks policies given by product leader are applied and target stock coverage for each product are applied
Based on inventory targets: define Target WIP and Target Throughput together with PCU, Warehouse, etc. of the final step of his/her PCU
Continuous improvement
Work with PCU team and SMS on continuous improvement of FACT setup
Ensure regular Critical Path Update of different release processes by PCU to report in weekly PCU meeting
Master Data
Ensure regular Critical Path Update of different release processes by PCU to report in weekly PCU meeting
Meetings
Lead: FACT weekly meeting (PCU L), E2E FLOW Meeting
Contribute: +QDCI SC L1+2, Site SC Performance Review, Site Net Demand
Review, Capability Review meeting, S&OE Meeting, PCU/Site Capability Review Meeting
Key involvement and decision-making process:
Advise on mitigation plan to solve identified supply risk (A)
Advise on Action plan to increase SC Performance (A)
Advise on performance evolution to be considered for SCR (A)
About you
Experience:
1 year of experience with strong background in Supply Chain Planning, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry, with proven track record of scheduling and aligning stakeholders, supporting decision-making for production lines.
Education:
Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Supply Chain Management, or similar. APICS certification is an asset.
Technical skills:
Proficient with planning system ERP (SAP), ability to analyze data and build mitigations. Build recommendations to aid decision making
Soft skills:
Interpersonal skills: ability to engage and collaborate with multiple partners within site functions to gather information and assess feasibility.
Change agent: ensure best practice implementation and system adoption. Proactivity is a must, given the anticipation component of the position.

fluent in English
