Job title: Antigen Design Data Strategy Lead - Vaccines

Location: Waltham, MA

About the Job

This position fills a critical role for the Global Antigen Design (GAD) group in the Sanofi Vaccines Research and Development organization. The role will be responsible for designing and maintaining state-of-the-art data infrastructures that can power effective data-driven decision making. This will require developing comprehensive data strategies to ensure the integrity, quality, visibility, and usability of GAD's data and systems. This person will ensure robust and accessible database solutions by harmonizing integrated and user-friendly data architecture with scientific data generated across existing and new vaccine projects. Ultimately, this role will provide a unified resource of validated data that can be accessible to, and shared across, the broader R&D community at Sanofi.

Working closely with the global antigen design (GAD) teams on ongoing and future vaccine projects, this role will lead in the collection, annotation, and organization of internal data from different sources and labs that encompass conception, hypotheses, execution, results, and interpretation. This will ultimately enable the creation of “ID cards” for all vaccine antigens investigated in the group, with the goal of making these available for maximum visibility, alignment, and decision-making with other groups in the organization, and across the whole development cycle of a vaccine candidate (from pre-clinical to development and clinical studies). This role reports directly to the Global Head of Computational Antigen Design (CAD).

We are an innovative global healthcare company that helps the world stay ahead of infectious diseases by delivering more than 500 million vaccine doses a year.
