JOB PURPOSE:

Lead new projects implementation during planning, construction & qualification phases according to global & local quality, HSE & regulatory standards within the pre-defined budget and time plan.

This includes:

• Premises expansion & upgrading
• Equipment upgrading & purchasing.

Follow the Building maintenance activities to ensure maintaining the site in good condition compliant with Operations, Quality & HSE requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

1.       Ensure the safety of Sanofi employees and contractors within the project scope and location.

2.       Define user requirements specifications with the project customer.

3.       Assign a project team & resources needed to achieve project goals.

4.       Identify & manage project dependencies & critical path.

5.       Insure and follow-up the safety of all Sanofi and contractor employees during the life cycle of the project.

6.       Ensure that the project does not have any negative impact on the environment at any point of its life cycle and boosting Energy management in scoping phase.

7.       Provide information for and participating in energy management strategic planning.

8.       Plan & schedule project timelines & milestones using appropriate tools.

9.       Manage project development during project life cycle showing high level of agility.

10.   Resolve conflicts within the project team and adapt planning to absorb predictions.

11.   Proactively manage changes in project scope identifying contingency plans through change control.

12.   Ensure that the HSE policy is communicated to all employees under his control as well as follow up.

13.   Ensure that standards related to safety, environmental, Health, housekeeping, energy, and discipline are adhered to and maintained.

14.   Ensure that emergency fully defined and deployment for all employees and everyone know his role well.

15.   Ensure that the necessary HSE resources are available for the achievement of PASS objectives.

16.   Report Project Progress reports (Weekly Heads up, Monthly report, …Etc.).

17.   Ensure the required training (induction / On Job) are adequately completed for Project team.

HSE responsibilities:

1.       Ensure that the HSE policy is communicated to all employees under his control.

2.       Ensuring from meeting all the statutory legalization concerning Health, Safety, and environmental law.

3.       Ensure that standards related to safety, environmental, Health, housekeeping, energy, and discipline are adhered to and maintained.

4.       Ensure that emergency fully defined and deployment for all employees and everyone know his role well.

5.       Ensure that the necessary HSE resources are available for the achievement of PASS objectives.

6.       Include the HSE & En. standards at early stage of design, Take the approval of HSE for each stage.

7.       Apply the prevention plan and Risk assessment studies prior to any new project or hazard task.

8.       Use the energy saving equipment for any new projects (HVAC, light, motion sensors, Solar cells,)

9.       Ensure the required training (induction / On Job) are adequately completed for Project team.

Others:

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

·         Respect of company’s values, code of ethics and social charter.

·         Respect of personal data protection charter.

. Responsible for applying the HSE related requirements for the company in all related working procedures.

JOB-HOLDER’s ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

·         Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering

Related Experience:

·         +6 years of experience in Managing Projects within the Pharmaceutical or FMCG industry.

Special Knowledge/Skills:

·         Microsoft Projects.  

·         AutoCAD. 

·         Project Management post graduate studies.  

·         Leadership - inspiring others to create a vision and strive to achieve the goals.

·         High communication - ability to provide valuable information related to the project status in a timely and effective manner.

·         Conflict resolution skills - assisting in resolution of any project conflicts so that the project team members all feel part of the process and want to remain involved in the project.

·         Negotiation skills - maintaining relationships with people who are involved in the project.
