About the position

FBC Fill & Finish Packaging is responsible for the final product packaging. This is currently done on 15 production lines.

The Project Manager ensures that packaging internal product transfer projects are implemented on time and within budget, and that the content of projects is coordinated with all expert groups. The manager is also responsible to lead the packaging simplification project E2E. The project includes the consolidation of various production lines and removal of several lines to free up space in the production area. It`s one of the key projects to support our CBN "affordable medicines".

Main responsibilities:

• Lead of internal product transfers between production lines or technology projects considering all GMP aspects and always ensuring compliance with requested quality
• Lead the packaging line consolidation program (simplification) E2E
• Collaborate with all functional representatives (production, regulatory, QA, engineering etc.) to set up a project plan which ensures achievement of all milestones requested by corresponding customers
• Full management of capturing, tracking and communication of project timelines costs, resources and risks in order to provide full visibility of all project related topics
• Regular reporting of project progression
• Careful management of risks linked to defined projects, as well as development of innovative problem-solving strategies
• Collaborate effectively with peers, stakeholders and partners across the organization to positively impact business results
• Embrace change and innovation and initiate new and improved ways of working
• Take responsibility for developing one’s self and others in anticipation of future business needs

About you

Education and professional Experience

• Degree in natural sciences ( M.Sc., Dipl. Ing,) like mechanical enginering, electrical engineering, pharmacy or similar
• Several years in Pharmaceutical / Biotech industry in relevant position (production, engineering, QA etc.)
• Proven record leading complex projects
• Experience in managing budget, resources
• Experience in representing the position / function at senior management meetings
• High level of understanding IA project challenges, critical path activities and bottlenecks that prevent progression

Soft skills

• Very high level of communication skills (written and oral)
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence
• Capability to engage people, lead change management and therefore motivate employees
• Leadership skills in a project and matrix environment.
• Proven ability to anticipate, identify, define and solve problems of high complexity and crisis’
• Proven ability to lead, providing vision and fostering collaboration across units and functions within the company

Technical skills

• Excellent knowledge in the use and application of excel, (SAP, Shine etc.)
• Knowledge in packaging equipment is a must
• Proven ability to make internal and external presentations representing the company

Languages

• Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills in English and German
