Your job, as Visual Inspection Global Expert within our Quality technical experts Team, will be to drive the company strategy for visual inspection processes from an organizational, technical, skills, and regulatory standpoint. You will establish oversee and support the visual inspection program for Sanofi Manufacturing and supply sites.

Our Team of Quality technical Experts has the mission to provide support and technical expertise to enable all sites in all GBUs to supply medicines that meet the need of patients with less complexity, better efficiency, and highest quality standards. Our main focus areas are contamination control and microbiology, process and equipment validation, viral safety, visual inspection, and data integrity.

Main responsibilities:

• Author, review, or approve technical documents,including personnel qualification strategies, control strategies, investigations, change controls, expert opinions, qualifications, procedures, defect classifications
• Develop and implement harmonized procedures across manufacturing and supply sites
• Partners cross functionally to establish a philosophy for visual inspection and visual inspection qualification for the operators
• Support the development and implementation of process improvements to improve process control, yield, and/or productivity 
• Support sites as a subject matter expert during regulatory inspections and internal audits
• Support the development and assists with implementation of training programs
• Support equipment selection and design as well as, process development activities
• Regularly interact with peers within the Manufacturing & Supply sites, Global Quality, and industry forums

About you

Experience:

• At least 5 years of experience (10 years is preferred) in visual inspection of liquid and lyophilized products

Soft and technical skills:

• Ability to influence and communicate to regulatory, business, leadership, and site staff on the topic of visual inspection
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience with supervising and/or managing visual inspection process (manual, semi-automated, and fully automated)
• Experience in qualifying and operating visual inspection equipment preferred. Previous experience

Education:

• Bachelors in a Science Related field (or equivalent)

Languages:

• Advanced English and French level (written and spoken)
