This position is responsible for performing routine tasks, cleaning, operating and troubleshooting packaging equipment, in the areas of Vial and Syringe Packaging. This position supports execution of the production plan. Maintains batch record documentation and logs as required by corporation and regulatory agencies.
Prefilled Syringe (PFS) Inspection Area is responsible for the staging, reconciliation, inspection and packing of prefilled syringe products produced on the site. This includes hyaluronic acid (HA) based medical device products as well as pharmaceutical based products. In support of our main functions, additional responsibilities include maintain compliance with all applicable Regulatory requirements relative to FDA, cGMP Regulations, Company’s SOPs and Safety Regulations, accurate documentation on batch production records and logs, and cleaning production areas.

Main Responsibilities:
Operate and troubleshoot automated Inspection and Packaging equipment. Typical tasks include loading syringes onto automated inspection and labeling equipment, changing label reels, replenishing packaging items (e.g. inserts, labels, cartons, trays, shippers), operating Syringe Assembly Machine, Alloyd and Fabrima Cartoner.
Participate in line changeovers and continuously strive to minimize line downtime and maximize OEE%.
Staging of prefilled syringes for inspection.
Manual Inspection of pre-filled syringes according to established standards.
Reconciliation of inspected syringes.
Perform inventory transactions in SAP.
Ensure compliance with cGMPs and SOPs at all times.
Ensure completion of training on timely manner.
Perform routine Quality and Safety inspection walk-throughs of the production areas.
Perform scheduled cleanings of equipment and packaging rooms.
Will serve as witness of routine unit operation tasks for batch record signing.
Maintains all associated documentation for operations being performed.
May assist with formal CAPAs and NCRs as needed.
Adheres to the production schedule and provides overtime and weekend support when needed.
Performs routine assignments with supervision. Takes initiative to identify issues, troubleshoot, propose solutions, and keep management informed.
Other duties may be assigned as required.
Timely report at workstations.
Timely and accurate batch record entries.
Checking and confirming accuracy of staged components.
Identify any inspection failures and report them immediately.
Use of computers for data entry and reporting purposes and to obtain training.
Achieve required quality, safety and efficiency targets.

For influenza production roles (excluding FFIP roles): candidate must be able to be receive influenza vaccine which is required for building access
For aseptic area production roles (excluding Flu production tech roles): candidate must be able to obtain and maintain current aseptic gowning qualification
This position may be required to be moved or temporarily flexed to another department or building within the FFIP operation due to business needs. Additionally, candidates should expect to work in multiple buildings. Some over-time/off-shift work hours may be required based on business needs. We will attempt to provide as much advance notice as possible, two weeks where applicable if any such change is needed.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs., and bend/lift/move objects as part of the job.
Able to stand for up to 8 hours a day (with occasional breaks)
