FAQs

  • Yes! Workday Recruiting, the technology powering our Career site, supports LinkedIn applications. If you choose this option, please remember to:

    • Check that your LinkedIn profile is complete and fully up-to-date
    • Share your motivation and aspirations with us
  • If you have limited work experience, highlight your achievements in college / school (e.g. teams you have been part of / volunteering opportunities or other leadership opportunities). You will realise that most of the skills employers ask for are skills you use or encounter already during your education.

  • Once you have applied, you will receive a system acknowledgement of your application. From this point forward, your application will be reviewed by a member of our Talent Acquisition team. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we will be reaching out directly to those who meet the role requirements. If your application is not progressing in the process, you will receive a system notification either at, or before the conclusion of the recruitment process.

  • At Sanofi, we use a variety of interviewing methods, depending on the position and the stage of the process. You can encounter:

    • Phone interview: conducted by the recruiter, this is usually a first step in the interview process with the aim to evaluate your qualifications, skills, motivations and overall fit with the position.
    • Face-to-face interview: an in-person meeting between you and someone from the hiring team, allowing for a more detailed exploration of qualifications, personality, and suitability for the role.
    • Video interview: this can be a live interview, usually via Zoom, or a recorded one using a specific video interview recording technology.
    • Panel interview: a semi-structured interview between you and a group of people (the Panel) relevant to the position. This group assesses you through the same domains, to make an objective and data-based hiring decision.

Depending on the position and the recruitment stage, you can be asked to deliver a business case presentation.

  • The interview is the first opportunity we have to speak to each other, get to know you, and evaluate your fit with the position. Before this meeting, we suggest that you:

    • Carefully review the job description
    • Think about concrete examples from your past experiences that match the requirements of the position
    • Think about the types of questions we are going to ask you, both about the job and about the application details you’ve shared with us
    • Sanofi uses behavioural interviewing. Check the 'Navigating your Interview Journey' section for more details about the S.T.A.R. methodology
    • If you have an online interview, find a quiet place where you will not be disturbed
    • If using technology, ensure you have a good connection in advance and make a reasonable effort to avoid potential issues
    • Smile! This may sound odd advice, but smiling will make you sound relaxed and confident!
  • Not during the same recruitment campaign, but if the position (or a similar one) becomes available, yes, you are welcome to apply again. However, bear in mind that unless you have gained additional experience or refined how you have presented yourself in your application, progressing further in the process may remain unlikely.

  • Yes, but please let the recruiter know, so they can avoid duplicating any of the recruitment steps and ensure proper internal coordination.

  • This may vary depending on the location and type of position, but we aim to complete the entire recruitment process within 2-3 months. Of course, you play an important role in this time, as well. We respectfully ask that you return all contact efforts in a timely manner to help us make the process efficient and the experience enjoyable.

  • Absolutely! Share the job title and job ID (on top of the job description) with your acquaintance, and ask them to refer you to the position. If done correctly, you will receive an email letting you know that you have been referred to the position and asking you to click on a link to complete your application.

  • As of today, you can only edit your email address after you've created your Candidate Account. To do so, log in to your Candidate Account, click on 'Edit Account Settings' then on 'Change Email'. If you need to edit other details (e.g.; CV; contact details), please liaise with the recruiter directly.

  • You can ask to purge your data anytime by logging into your Workday Candidate Profile. Go to 'Edit Account Settings' under the My Account section, and chose 'Delete My Information'. By clicking on the orange 'Delete My Information' button, all personal identifiable information will be removed within a maximum of 30 days. You can also open a data protection request to ask for your personal data deletion by filling out the form here.
