Job Title: Medical Communications Lead Oncology

The Medical Communications Lead is responsible for developing and implementing strategic medical communications to support product and therapeutic area objectives. This role serves as a key liaison between medical affairs, marketing, and external stakeholders to ensure scientific accuracy and consistency of medical information.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive medical communications strategies aligned with business objectives

• Lead the creation and review of scientific content for accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging across all medical communications

• Manage relationships with external medical communications agencies and key opinion leaders

• Oversee the development of materials for medical education, scientific congresses, and publications

• Ensure all communications adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies

• Support the medical affairs team in responding to scientific inquiries from healthcare professionals

About You

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or related field (PharmD, MD, PhD preferred)

• 2+ years of experience in medical affairs, medical communications or publications

• Strong understanding of medical/scientific content development and regulatory requirements

• Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

• Experience with publication planning and medical education programs
