The Digital Patient Experience Product Line leverages innovative digital technologies and capabilities to improve treatment experience and overall health outcome for patients undertaking Sanofi’s life-changing medicines. To support the trajectory of rapid growth of the Product Line and ensure that it scales efficiently and effectively, we are looking for a highly skilled Lead in Product Portfolio Strategy & Operations. This individual will play a crucial role to ensure that we build a robust strategy and roadmap within the entire Product Line/Portfolio and orchestrate strategic initiatives across the shared capabilities. This role will be pivotal in defining digital health, patient find and post-Rx portfolio strategy and translating it into concrete actions for execution, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, driving strategic initiatives and structural improvements that enhance portfolio level performance, governance, and our capabilities to iterate and scale effectively.
Main responsibilities
Strategic Product Line Management & Planning:
- Partner with the Digital Patient Experience LT and Product Line Owners in defining, communicating and executing product strategy and priorities, based on value-add, budget, resources and roadmaps
- Lead and facilitate product lines review, planning/backlog and strategic planning sessions
- Establish guidelines and governance framework (Product standardization Playbooks to support DLR and SILC) to improve digital product lifecycle management and key decision making, and to operate the portfolio efficiently at scale
- Design and own the portfolio OKR process in partnership with Global Product Owners, ensure alignment with company and portfolio level strategic priorities, clarity of objectives, and accountabilities for results
- Design and implement robust tracking mechanisms to monitor performance against key metrics in support to value realization
- Identify performance gaps and work closely with Global Product Owners to create action plan to address them
- Facilitate the financial planning and tracking process for the portfolio
Operational Excellence & Cross-functional Leadership:
- Drive operational excellence in the rollout and scaling of products, ensuring efficiency and consistency, while we target maximum standardization and scalability
- Lead strategic projects and transversal initiatives at portfolio level to identify opportunities, operational inefficiencies, and growth levers, and develop actionable plans to address them
- Define resulting operating model/ways-of-working iterations to improve agility, efficiency and consistency in global product management practices across the product portfolio
- Drive product roadmaps alignment across product teams and supporting functions/capabilities, and break down organizational silos across internal DPE product lines and supporting product line; e.g.: data & analytics
- Monitor market performance and acquisition impact, ensuring data-driven improvements in strategy execution
- Develop and deliver monthly reports on performance, user feedback, testimonials, and business impact to key stakeholders
Organizational Effectiveness:
- Support portfolio OKRs and VRO tracking and reporting
- Design and implement processes to improve portfolio level communication and collaboration
- Support product portfolio organizational design and scaling initiatives
- Facilitate problem-solving across teams
Reporting and Communications:
- Support the Head of Digital Patient Experience in internal communications by developing and delivering monthly reports to demonstrate product portfolio performance, value, and business impact to key stakeholders
- Prepare materials representing the Digital Patient Experience Product Line for company key decision-making forums and meetings
- Organize and coordinate portfolio leadership team meetings, ensuring follow-through on key items and decisions
About you
- Bachelor's degree required; M.S in Computer Science, Information Systems, or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in design controls and FDA/ISO 13485/IEC 62304 compliant software development, regulatory submissions, and launch is preferred
- strong experience in Go To Market Strategy & Marketing
- Having knowledge of EHR and Health System integrations is preferred
- 10+ years of experience of being a Product Owner
- Technical knowledge of driving the development and adoption of AI/ML (Machine Learning) solutions in healthcare industry is preferred
- Strategic thinker, exceptional communication, and leadership skills
- Advanced skills in Agile practices, digital strategy, product management, project management, compliance, and business acumen
- Fluent in English; a second language is desired
