As Global Process Expert – Guided Buying and S2P User & Supplier Experience, you will be responsible for the design, development, optimization, and governance of parts of the S2P process. You will be driving process standardization, optimization, and improvement initiatives across the organization's global operations. This role involves working closely with regional and local teams and with outsourced service provider. While understanding S2P technology, you will identify, develop, and implement best practices that enhance efficiency, quality, and consistency of processes worldwide. You will report to Global Process Lead - Guided Buying and S2P User & Supplier Experience, in a newly established team.

Main responsibilities:

  • Tactical Buying & Tail Spend Management: Lead the implementation and optimization of the Core Model for Tactical Buying and Spot Buy in collaboration with Procurement. Identify opportunities to enhance Tail Spend Management through automation and process improvement. Promote the use of preferred and automated buying channels, and support the S2P process for non-preferred purchases.

  • Guided Buying & S2P Helpdesk: Drive the implementation and optimization of Guided Buying services, including technology enablement. Manage the Core Model for routing tail spend Purchase Requests to correct buying channels. Collaborate with BPO partners to create an integrated, end-to-end helpdesk with a Single Entry Point, and provide support for Guided Buying within the S2P Helpdesk.

  • S2P User & Supplier Experience: Improve user, business, and supplier experience with S2P processes, tools, and support. Provide insights, guidance, and training to Procurement, Non-Procurement business areas, S2P partners, and delivery teams. Oversee user and supplier interactions with S2P tools, collaborating with system owners and GPLs to drive simplicity. Coordinate support for Supplier Contract Audits.

  • Connect-to-Resolve (C2R): Lead the development of Connect-to-Resolve (C2R) solutions from an S2P perspective. Serve as a key expert on S2P C2R issues, improving helpdesk support, SLAs, ticket feedback, and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with BPO partners and GPLs to address pain points and incorporate learnings from C2R tickets.

  • Process Design & Optimization: Design and implement S2P processes aligned with global best practices, focusing on efficiency and standardization. Lead the deployment of the Core Model across regions and address any gaps. Propose updates to the Core Model design documents to ensure continuous improvement, compliance, and enhanced user experience.

  • Stakeholder Management & Governance: Work closely with Procurement, Finance, IT, and Operations to ensure collaboration and alignment on S2P processes. Manage governance, stakeholder meetings, and follow-ups to drive resolutions. Ensure internal control and compliance are embedded in all process designs and updates.

  • Technology & Continuous Improvement: Act as a global expert on digital S2P solutions (e.g., Coupa, Concur) and set process and technology standards. Identify market trends and best-in-class solutions to optimize solution usage and automation. Lead continuous improvement initiatives, managing risks, issues, escalations, and stakeholder communication. Contribute to defining and monitoring KPIs for performance reporting.

About you

Experience:

  • Proven experience (7+ year) in Source-to-Pay or Procure-to-Pay process ownership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in process optimization, standardization, and change management.
  • Expert knowledge of S2P solutions (e.g., Coupa) with a strong understanding of S2P processes at scale in a global context.
  • Experience in implementing source-to-pay technology solutions (e.g., e-procurement, spend analytics) is preferred.
  • International experience working with diverse cultures and global teams is nice-to-have.

Soft skills:

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to influence to drive adoption of standardized S2P processes.
  • Ability to travel approximately up to 10% of the time.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) are advantageous, and professional certifications such as Certified Procurement Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are considered a plus.

Languages:

  • Fluency in English.
