GTMC delivers best-in-class capabilities to accelerate commercial operations through centralized go-to-market tasks, standardized processes, and optimized resource allocation. Global Data Management
The Global Data Management team within GTMC's Insights and Analytics pillar supports data management activities across global functions and key regions. The team serves as a Center of Excellence, acting as primary liaisons for the broader organization and Hub teams worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Data Asset Stewardship & Operations
Lead end-to-end stewardship of external market data assets (intake, master data management, channel aggregation, quality monitoring)
Drive operational excellence in data management processes supporting Sales Operations, Supply Chain, and Advanced Analytics
Develop and maintain performance indicators and quality metrics to ensure SLA commitments
Partner with data suppliers and vendors to optimize delivery and resolve quality issues
Drive adoption of centralized data models and reporting solutions across affiliates and business units
Governance Framework & Standards
Develop and implement data governance frameworks aligned with regulatory, privacy, and security requirements
Author data governance policies, procedures, and standards balancing control with business agility
Advise on appropriate use of commercial and medical data sources across therapeutic areas
Define data-related roles, responsibilities, and adoption requirements across stakeholder groups
Stakeholder Management & Process Excellence
Serve as primary point of contact for business unit stakeholders, country affiliates, and data domain SMEs
Partner with functional and technology teams to translate business requirements into actionable specifications
Consult on GTMC initiatives including Sales Force Effectiveness, Incentive Compensation, and AI/advanced analytics use cases
Develop training materials to enhance data literacy and promote self-service capabilities
Communicate progress, risks, and escalations to leadership and business partners
Identify standardization opportunities and facilitate knowledge sharing between strategic and operational teams
Team Leadership
Coordinate daily operations and deliver quality output for assigned projects
Allocate team resources effectively and ensure timely delivery of solutions
Provide technical mentorship and support team development
Foster collaborative learning environment supporting individual growth and team performance
Requirements
Experience
7+ years in pharmaceutical industry (or equivalent combination of advanced degree and consulting experience)
Strong functional understanding of commercial pharma datasets (IQVIA National/Subnational Sales Data, One-Key, Secondary Market Research)
Proven track record leading market performance and competitive intelligence analysis projects
Experience authoring and enforcing data governance policies, procedures, and standards
Deep knowledge of commercial and medical data sources used in pharma/biotech insights generation
Expert knowledge of secondary data sources and suppliers in global key markets
Experience developing wireframes and presenting insights to technical and non-technical audiences
Preferred: Experience across sales operations, supply chain, and advanced analytics applications
Plus: Exposure to primary market research with HCPs
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of data governance and data privacy frameworks
Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
Familiarity with Power BI or other data analytics/visualization tools (preferred)
Experience managing data marts and data integration projects
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Superior customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement capabilities
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Effective cross-functional team collaboration
Education & Languages
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, MD, PhD) preferred
English working proficiency required
