Main responsibilities:
The COPAC & SC Security Head reports to the Latam & Brazil Security Head. He/she is based in Bogota covering the COPAC zone (Colombia, Andean, Central America and Caribbean countries) and South Cone countries. His/her missions are carried out in coordination with Latam Security Region and global Centers of Expertise (CoE).
In his/her zone, the Security Head is responsible for protecting Sanofi's employees, information, sites, patients, products and assets. He/she supports the sanofi's resilience program through the deployment of crisis and BCP plans.
He/she also will be responsible for the health, safety, and environmental programs, ensuring compliance with Sanofi requirements and regulations in coordination with the global Heath Safety and Environment Department.
To deliver on his/her mission, the Security Head:
Assess risks, identify threats, propose mitigations, guide stakeholders, and provide incident responses.
Ensure implementation of Global Security Standards via awareness, monitoring, and feedback to the Regional Security Head.
Promote Sanofi’s security culture through training and communication; advise and support COPAC stakeholders.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with key zone stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with local/global regulations and criminal processes; verify vendor proficiency and compliance.
Participate in external initiatives and maintain cooperative relationships with law enforcement, intelligence agencies, private contractors, and diplomatic representations.
Support sensitive business projects with intelligence and investigations.
Visit remote sites to assess the readiness of security operations and ensure regulatory requirements and compliance standards are in effect.
This position is structured around six main areas of responsibility, covering both strategic leadership and hands-on regional execution. The role is accountable for ensuring the protection of people, assets, information, products, and business continuity across the COPAC and South Cone regions, while also leading Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) programs in alignment with global standards.

About you
Experience:
Solid professional management background in security operations, police or military forces and good knowledge of security practices and systems.
minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior corporate security position to include proven experience in conducting investigations and risk management is required
Experience in supervising major investigations that led to dismantling criminal networks and to their prosecution by competent authorities.
• Experience in crisis management, security advice, ranging from life‐threatening situations (death threat, kidnapping or hostage taking).
• Ability to travel internationally, sometimes on short notice

• Planning and organizing security operations.
