Sanofi Business Services (SBS), one of the 5 pillars of Sanofi’s Business Services organization, is setting up a new captive Business Services Center in Bogota to provide Account-to-Report, integrated Order-to-Cash as well as HR services.

The Global Account to Report (A2R) team within the Sanofi Business Services (SBS) organization. A2R is an end-to-end organization that manages Finance activities from accounting data recording to the production and sign-off of financial reports. A2R consolidates the following activities: Fixed assets, Intercompany, Closing, Reporting, Inventories, Cash Accounting, Tax compliance and tax reporting activities, Audit support and Master Data.

Operational Leadership

  • Ensure consistent and reliable delivery of A2R activities aligned with the global A2R Core Model.
  • Oversee performance KPIs, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Build strong engagement with key stakeholders, collect feedback, and track satisfaction (including A2R Country/MCO Heads).
  • Supervise the A2R teams in the Bogotá Hub across daily operations and strategic projects.
  • Guarantee adequate staffing, talent development, succession planning, and high levels of employee satisfaction.
  • Promote a strong delivery, performance, and transformation-oriented mindset.
  • Drive continuous improvement and contribute to expanding the hub’s scope.
  • Foster digitalization, automation, and harmonization of all A2R processes.

Continuous Improvement & Projects

  • Lead and promote best‑in‑class A2R processes, policies, and standards.
  • Champion automation initiatives and ensure smooth digital adoption.
  • Drive standardization and simplification of Level 6/7 A2R processes.
  • Ensure project benefits are realized in terms of quality, efficiency, and cost.
  • Partner with the A2R GPO team on global process design.
  • Build an external network with other A2R hub leaders in Colombia to benchmark best practices.
  • Deliver A2R projects aligned with the A2R strategic roadmap and cross‑functional SBS initiatives.

Hub Expansion & Promotion

  • Identify and assess opportunities to expand A2R activities within the hub.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding of new activities aligned with the A2R Core Model and Target Operating Model.
  • Support issue resolution escalated by country teams or hub staff.
  • As a member of the Bogotá Hub Leadership Team, contribute to:
    • Stakeholder management.
    • Employee engagement and culture development (SBS mindset).
    • Employer branding and external partnerships with industry associations, GBS networks, government units.
    • Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.
    • Establishment of robust business continuity strategies.

Team Management

  • Communicate global and regional strategies clearly and consistently.
  • Set objectives, conduct performance assessments, and drive development plans for team members.
  • Enhance team capability in response to evolving technologies and organizational shifts.
  • Lead hiring, succession planning, and internal mobility within and beyond A2R.
  • Promote end‑to‑end process knowledge and job rotation.
  • Cultivate a high‑performance culture.
  • Recommend salary increases, bonuses, and promotions in line with budget and policy.

Stakeholder & Change Management

  • Ensure full understanding of A2R Core Model principles to enable effective implementation.
  • Build strong relationships with regional/local stakeholders to support communication and change management.
  • Gather and provide feedback for continuous mutual improvement.
  • Serve as a permanent member of both the A2R Leadership Team and the Bogotá Hub Leadership Team.
  • Collaborate closely with International Region A2R leadership, LATAM and NA A2R teams, and One Finance functions (Controlling, Treasury, Tax, Internal Control, and SBS teams).

About you 

About you

Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in end‑to‑end Account to Report (A2R) processes within an international, multicultural, and complex environment. Mandatory experience working in a Shared Services / Global Business Services (GBS) environment in a managerial role, proven track record in process improvement, continuous improvement initiatives, and change management, demonstrated experience leading operational teams and driving digital transformation initiatives.

Soft Skills: Ability to dive into transactional operational details while maintaining a strong understanding of the broader business context and root causes, strong delivery, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities. Flexible and adaptable to changing business environments and emerging requirements, solid digital acumen to leverage new technologies and automation opportunities, strong program and project management skills, effective networking skills to proactively promote the function among key stakeholders, proactive, influential, and able to drive alignment in complex environments.

Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of financial closing and reporting, fixed assets, cash and bank accounting, strong understanding of IFRS and local GAAPs, hands‑on experience with SAP FICO and other financial IT tools.

Education: Graduate or master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, chartered accounting certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA or equivalent).

Languages: Fluent English (spoken and written).
