Location: Hyderabad
The Invoice to pay & Accounts payable analyst is responsible for AP activities Monitoring, reviewing, optimize end to end invoice processing, drive compliance with tax regulations, Reconciliation Review and Troubleshooting. Supports Merger & Acquisition activity as it impacts P2P accounts. Ensures P2P account operations are aligned with the Global Core Model.
Responsibilities
Invoice Processing: Review, verify, and process high volumes of vendor invoices; perform 2-way or 3-way matching with purchase orders and receiving documents.
Payments: Execute timely and accurate payments (ACH, EFT, wire transfers, checks) according to company policies and schedules.
Reconciliation: Conduct monthly reconciliations of accounts payable subledger to general ledger and bank statements; resolve discrepancies.
Expense Reports: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with travel and expense policies.
Vendor Management: Maintain vendor master data (W-9/Tax ID, payment terms, banking info) and resolve vendor queries promptly.
Month-End Close: Assist with accruals, AP schedules, and reporting for month-end and year-end closing.
Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare AP reports, analyze spending trends, and support budgeting and forecasting. [interviewprep.org]
Process Improvement: Contribute to automation initiatives and optimize AP workflows using ERP
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2-4 years of experience (Certififed accountant preferred)
·Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and AP automation tools; strong Excel skills.
Working knowledge of SAP FI/CO/MM a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong computer, organizational and time management skills are necessary
Soft Skills: Attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and ability to work cross-functionally.
