Position Title: Patient Experience DevOps Release Manager

About the job

Ready to push the limits of what’s possible? Join Sanofi Digital and you can play a vital part in the performance of our entire business while helping to make an impact on million patients around the world.

The Patient DevOps Release Manager oversees end-to-end release governance, ensuring that application and data platform changes across Salesforce, Informatica IICS, AWS services, Python-based APIs, and Snowflake environments are delivered reliably, securely, and with repeatable DevOps practices. This role blends coordination, technical depth, and process rigor to ensure high-quality deployments across complex, multi-cloud ecosystems.

The Patient DevOps Release Manager is a hands-on technical expert responsible for implementing, optimizing, and managing CI/CD pipelines, environment architecture, deployment automation, quality gates, and operational readiness. This role works closely with product, QA testing, developers, cybersecurity, and release teams to ensure delivery velocity, reliability, and engineering efficiency.

Main Responsibilities

Release Management

  • Optimize the full release lifecycle—planning, scheduling, tracking, deployment, and post-release validation across Salesforce, IICS, AWS, and Snowflake platforms.
  • Maintain unified release calendars, ensuring cross-team alignment for CRM, integration, data, and cloud engineering initiatives.
  • Govern release quality gates including code review compliance, regression readiness, sandbox alignment, metadata/version control hygiene, and automated testing results.
  • Drive Go/No-Go processes with stakeholders in engineering, QA, cybersecurity, compliance, and business teams.
  • Ensure rollback strategies, deployment documentation, and release impact assessments are consistently defined and executed.

DevOps Engineering

  • Manage CI/CD pipelines supporting Salesforce (SFDX, Metadata API), IICS (CI/CD automation frameworks), AWS, Python, and Snowflake (SQL automation, data pipeline promotions).
  • Implement build and deployment automation, enforce branching strategies, and increase pipeline reliability through automated quality checks.
  • Oversee environment management: sandbox refresh coordination, AWS environment parity, Snowflake role/security alignment, and integration configuration consistency.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to standardize release-ready development practices, Peer Review norms, and DevOps patterns.
  • Monitor release performance metrics (deployment frequency, failure rate, MTTR, pipeline health) and continuously optimize processes.
  • Maintain and update GitHub Actions workflows to ensure reliable CI/CD automation and alignment with project needs.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MS, MBA) preferred.
  • Experience with release management, environment orchestration, and SDLC processes
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and test lifecycle management
  • Comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced delivery environment
  • Experience with digital health ecosystems, EHR, and clinical integrations preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce development practices and cloud engineering.
  • Highly organized, strong communicator, adept in cross-functional coordination.
  • Fluent in English; an additional language is a plus.
