Thus, modernizing the Sanofi operational structure to include a Go-to-Market Capabilities (GTMC) team within the company.
The new GTMC organization is charged with delivering best-in-class capabilities to accelerate and increase value in commercial operations. Operating with a One Sanofi mindset and entrepreneurial spirit, GTMC will accelerate and improve key capabilities to facilitate the best-informed strategic decision-making across the organization.
The GTMC organization aims to:
Centralize Go-to-Market operational tasks across business units
Standardize best-in-class capabilities, strengthen global support, and implement a better vertical reporting structure within GTMC from local to global
Define ways of working, bringing clarity on the interactions across GBUs, Digital, and Commercial executional support teams from Sanofi hubs to optimize process excellence and efficiency
The Senior Director, Insights & Analytics – Immunology (Non-Alliance) will lead a high-performing on-shore Insights & Analytics (I&A) team and partner with Sanofi’s extended offshore Hub teams to deliver integrated Brand Analytics, Forecasting, and Market Research insights in support of Sanofi’s US Immunology portfolio. Leading with an action-oriented insights approach, this individual will drive US I&A activities and influence Global I&A strategy. An integral strategic partner to Sanofi’s US Commercial leadership, the US Immunology I&A lead will collaborate with a range of cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Finance, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Launch Excellence, etc.) to deliver best-in-class I&A support for Amlitelimab and future Immunology pipeline products.
This position will report to the US Head of Pharma Insights & Analytics and will be based in Cambridge, MA, or Morristown, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide impactful leadership for the US Immunology (Non-Alliance) I&A team, balancing talent development with a focus on delivering best-in-class insights support:
Represent the I&A team by integrating Forecasting, Analytics, and Market Research insights to effectively guide brand, launch, and strategic planning initiatives with actionable cross-functional insights
Provide hands-on I&A leadership and direction, establishing a culture and work environment that attracts, retains, and motivates a diverse, skilled team
Support growth of functional leads with a focus on developing I&A core competencies and realizing leadership potential, fostering a positive team culture that rewards curiosity, collaboration, and inclusion
Drive effective collaboration with the extended offshore team to drive I&A excellence through the expansion and optimization of Sanofi Hub capabilities
Coordinate with the I&A team and Commercial leadership to prioritize requests and balance team workload
Maximize adoption of innovative I&A methodologies and best practices via training and upskilling workshops
Manage team budgets and relationships with external vendors to accomplish key I&A and Commercial goals
Leverage subject matter expertise to become a trusted cross-functional consultant, serving as an effective I&A ambassador and catalyst for innovation:
Participate in leadership meetings up to and including the C-Suite level, providing insights and operational expertise to drive strategic decisions
Organize Brand Analytics support that effectively monitors, unpacks, and optimizes brand performance, partnering with the Commercial team to diagnose business challenges, implement targeted interventions, and track ROI
Oversee US Immunology forecasting activities across Financial and Supply Chain domains, and escalate key business insights in a proactive manner to leaders within the Commercial & GTMC / I&A organizations
Supervise the design and execution of Market Research planning initiatives, collaborating with US Commercial and Global I&A teams to support pre-launch readiness, peri-launch execution, and post-launch optimization
Ensure the effective implementation of integrated Forecasting, Brand Analytics, and Market Research activities through timely and appropriate coordination with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Partner with Advanced Analytics colleagues to support optimization of promotional spend (e.g., marketing mix analyses) and better understand/impact key business levers (e.g., application of AI / ML models to understand patient conversion, predict HCP product selection, etc.)
Define ways of working, bringing clarity on the interactions across GBUs, Digital, and Commercial executional support teams from Sanofi hubs to optimize process excellence and efficiency
Leverage common GTMC frameworks / guiding principles to drive collaboration across GTMC COEs and avoid duplication of effort
Cooperate with colleagues in similar roles across the US and Global I&A to share best practices and optimize ways of working across the organization
Explore innovative methodologies (e.g., AI/ML and Behavioral) in coordination with GTMC COEs to accelerate insights and optimize brand/development plans
About You
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS, MD, PhD) preferred
Key Competencies:
A minimum of 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry; equivalent combination of education (MA, MS, MBA / PhD) and/or relevant consulting experience may be considered
Define ways of working, bringing clarity to the interactions across GBUs, Digital, and Commercial executional support teams from Sanofi hubs to optimize process excellence and efficiency.
Proven strategic thinking ability, with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical/biotech landscape; experience working in relevant therapeutic areas is a plus
Strong business acumen, with well-developed communication & presentation skills
Excellent analytical and forecasting skills, with demonstrated ability to develop analyses and models to answer complex business questions
Strong primary market research capabilities, with a deep understanding of the pros/cons of various methodologies (quantitative, qualitative, and more agile) to prescribe solutions and support the interpretation of directional vs. statistically significant results
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry data sources (e.g., IQVIA anonymous patient-level data, IQVIA syndicated reports, internal patient services & specialty pharmacy data, etc.) and payer/health insurance environment
Experience with VBA or other programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python) is a plus, as is proficiency in accessing and manipulating large datasets via cloud-based data warehousing/analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
