The Omnichannel Marketing team is accountable for all the Global Core applications related to marketing efforts across all digital channels. This team leverages both dedicated expertise internally at Sanofi, and delivery and deployment partners. It enables products, enhances services, and drives growth through digital across all Digital Omnichannel Marketing areas.

Main responsibilities:

As an Engineering Lead within the Omnichannel Marketing organization, you will have a critical role in ensuring the delivery, stability, security, and performance of Sanofi’s global web platform which is operating around 400 websites. You’ll lead a team of software engineers, focusing on optimizing their delivery flow and ensuring the team remains high-performing in a fast-paced, agile environment.

• Drive the technical vision and strategy while always looking to raise the bar and increase the standards

• Oversee the technology stack and ensure it meets current standards, including quality, process ownership, and platform security.

• Manage and mentor a team of 3 software engineers in Barcelona, guiding them in their career development and growth, ensuring they have clear paths for Progression and skill enhancement.

• Ensure delivery processes are continuously improved, dependencies with other teams and stakeholders are streamlined, and CI/CD pipelines executed on GitHub Actions are as fast as possible.

• Collaborate actively with other technical stakeholders, such as the architecture, and other development teams.

• Surprise us with innovative approaches to exponentially increase the organization's productivity.

Experience:

• Solid years of experience (or equivalent knowledge) in digital and a key role in Software Engineering in the Cloud (preferably AWS)

• Proven experience leading and collaborating within a cross-functional team (software, product, designer, agile…) 

• Experience managing engineering teams and developing team members professionally

• Strong technical expertise in CI/CD pipeline management, and cloud-native operations.

• At ease with web ecosystems and the challenges of managing hundreds of sites.

• A data-driven and problem-solving mindset to solve complex challenges

Technical requirements:

• Experience with one or more of the major cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure

• Infrastructure as Code - Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, or similar

• Proficiency in Javascript, TypeScript / Node.js

• Proficiency in React or similar framework

• Java would be a great plus

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
