Who You Are:

The DevOps Engineer enables product teams to deliver new capabilities faster through a closer partnership with operations teams and increased use of automation and tooling. They identify and optimize interdependencies between applications development and infrastructure operations through a collaborative approach and continuous delivery.

Job Highlights:

• Drive value using agile IT life cycle management from product prototyping to development, deployment, and optimization 
• Lead the engineering through development of patterns and practices for CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions across a broad variety of technologies with deployment targets including AWS, Azure, and numerous SaaS solutions (technologies to be confirmed) 
• Lead technical execution of product-related, end-to-end customer and business operations and experiences
• Inform and influence relevant stakeholders to deliver and support successful DevOps functionality
• Partners with peers within Digital drive the continuous improvement of service processes, user experiences, and application optimization in alignment with business stakeholders
• Quickly understand the current state of DevOps and bring the knowledge and experience to chart the course to daily releases for hundreds of products on dozens of technologies  
• Technical expert in DevOps and reliability engineering skilled at YAML pipeline creation, strong experience with AWS and AWS Code Deploy, hands on experience with GitHub Actions, Static Code Analysis, Kubernetes, AMIs, Ansible 

Key Functional Requirements & Qualifications:

• Experience working in agile cross-functional teams 
• You are curious, have excellent analytical capabilities, and have the drive to find solutions and strong problem-solving skills 
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly 
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment; ability to manage multiple priorities  
• Drives proof of concept implementations 
• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing 

Key Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or similar field 
• Experience in Python, Shell scripting 
• Experience in GIT-based source code management systems (GitHub, GitLab) and Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices (GitHub Actions) 
• Experience in automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications 
• Experience in specifying Infrastructure as a code (Terraform, Ansible) 
• Experience in Linux based operating systems 
• Experience with cloud-based services (AWS,) 
• Experience in agile development processes and DevOps methodology / principals 
• Experience in data storage technologies (Object, structured, and unstructured) 
• Familiarity with fundamentals of networking concepts 

Nice To Have:

• Experience with monitoring and dashboarding solutions like Google Analytics, PowerBI, Grafana, Prometheus, and MLFlow is a plus 
• Experience with code quality and security solutions like SonarQube and Checkmarx is a plus 
• Experience with artifact and container repositories like Artifactory and ECR is a plus 
• Experience with Identity and Access Management solutions like Keycloak is a plus 
• Experience applying FinOps, SecOps, and GitOps principles in practice is a plus 
• Experience with distributed systems (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus 
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (AWS RDS) is a plus 
• Experience in Integration Services (Informatica Cloud, Airflow) is a plus 
• Experience in cloud-based machine learning platforms (Databricks, AWS Sagemaker) is a plus 
• Experience in Data warehousing solutions (Snowflake, AWS Redshift) is a plus 
• Experience in working within compliance (e.g.: quality, regulatory - data privacy, GxP, SOX) and cybersecurity requirements is a plus  
• Relevant cloud certifications are a plus 
• For more senior roles, mentoring and/or technology evangelism/advocacy experience is a plus
