Sanofi Supply Chain Transformation 

Over the last several years, Sanofi has embarked on a transformation program of Digital Supply Chain processes, and related information systems, including distribution, customer service, and planning systems.  

Under the main transformation program SCCORE, a major stream was Supply Chain Planning, which included the implementation of the Kinaxis planning system covering forecasting and demand planning, S&OP/IBP, Distribution Resource Planning (DRP), Multi-Sites planning (MSP), and CMO collaboration, as a Core Model.  The Kinaxis Core Model has being progressively implemented worldwide for each Global Business Unit.  

SCCORE has evolved to support the ambitions of the recently launched Advanced Planning Program which has a main objective to implement a Smart Supply Chain from Supplier to patient. SCCORE and Advanced Planning are taking place in parallel with, and in support of, other company strategic programs such as iSHIFT program (integrated ERP for Manufacturing, Distribution and Finance) or ALMA. 

These transformation programs are aligned with an agile transformation and the evolution of our ways-of-working to become more flexible, adaptable, collaborative, and user-centric. 

Main responsibilities:

As the Digital Functional Expert for CMO Upstream, your primary mission is to support the business continuity and operational excellence of the department's service. You will help keep the service available for users and work on improving it by adding new functionalities, redesigning tool features, and collaborating with business stakeholders to update the business model. You will achieve this by harnessing existing technologies and tools to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Moreover, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth coordination between our digital products and services and our supply chain operations. 

To fulfill this mission, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Centers of Excellence (CoEs), business users, external partners, and more. Your role will be instrumental in supporting our digital transformation initiatives and implementing Global Core Model Solutions. This will involve leading activities related to design, build, deployment, and ongoing operations. Additionally, you will facilitate the development of necessary skills and expertise among our team members to drive the evolution of both the digital and business aspects of Supply Chain planning.   

We are a cross-cultural and cross-functional team, looking for a Digital Functional Expert CMO, who will be at the forefront of our digital transformation journey, driving innovation and efficiency in our planning processes. 

Other specific responsibilities include: 

• Learning platform for MRP, External Collaboration, and integration planning  
• Work closely with business to analyze ways of working and detect points of improvements, enhancements or changes that could provide value while respecting solution standards 
• Support on the analysis, designs, builds, testing, training, and transfer to support team for the new business needs  
• Develop expertise in the solution configurations with Kinaxis  
• Manage project documentation at both functional and technical level 
• Collaborate with Support Team to be able to keep high quality on response and time of reaction  
• Collaborate with the business teams, internal service organizations & external partners when needed 
• Daily contacts with broader internal and external Digital and Business upstream department team 
• Frequent contacts with other streams like Downstream, Analytics & Team Managing Back-offices (i.e. iSHIFT) or ERP (i.e. ATHENA) and Application maintenance support managers 

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 
• 3+ years of experience with end-to-end software development methodologies and practices, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support 
• 2+ years experience in Supply Chain Planning domain and with an Enterprise SCP application such as Kinaxis 
• Good knowledge of Supply Chain Planning integration process points with execution systems (Ex:  SAP APO, PP, PI, MM, SD, QM, etc)  
• Demonstrated expertise and practical experience in working with SAP ERP systems, encompassing a solid understanding of its modules and functionalities  
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving production support issues in a timely manner 
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and to influence a diverse mix of internal and external stakeholders   
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex challenges and propose appropriate solutions 
• Self-motivated team player and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to staying updated on innovative technologies and industry trends 
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure with strict deadlines 
• Ability to work effectively within a matrix organizational structure, under leadership of multiple managers, while collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders 
• Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams 
• Experience with Agile methodologies, practices, and tools (JIRA/Confluence)   
• Experience in Pharma/life sciences/healthcare industries is a plus 
• Fluent in English & Spanish
