Main responsibilities

The purpose of the Global Process Expert (GPE) role is to design effective and efficient core model processes, drive effective process & digital solution implementation, manage any deviations, and alignment within the other members of the team & relevant neighboring functions.He/she is the gatekeeper for his own domain, working closely together with the other Global Process Experts & Continuous Improvement Leads.

The GPE role for Controlling Data Core Model / Support Model covers all Group activities (43b€ sales scope) and report to the DS&A Global Process Lead within the Controlling Operations Global Process Owner team.

Core Model

• Ownership for the design of the Data / Support Core Model process with high level of focus on Finance Data Foundation
• Review/Approve/Reject change requests and exceptions to the Controlling Core Model
• Ensure processes levels 1-5 are fully documented and for levels 6-7 the process, business rules & detailed standard operations are documented where it is meaningful to do so
• Ensure Internal control and compliance are embedded within process designs

Global Projects & Initiatives

• Deliver projects across all regions, notably technologies implementation
• Own the business case for the relevant project incl. its implementation impact within Finance P&L
• Support neighboring functions projects & other global initiatives impacting the Service Line

Stakeholders and Change Management

• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships across all geographies and drive standardization of processes
• Identify alignment needs and proactively manage relationship with neighboring functions
• Ensure Core Model components are well understood to perform an effective implementation
• Provide process expertise to Service Delivery teams as required

ABOUT YOU

Experience

• Working knowledge of Controlling Operations and Snowflake
• Leading Lean/6 Sigma/Agile projects
• Process enablement with AI/Machine Learning
• Experience of working in a Global Business Services environment desirable

Soft skills

• Strong change leader with ability to drive adoption of new technologies and ways of working
• Strong delivery orientation and good project management skills including development of business cases, planning, execution, resolving critical issues, ensuring programs stay on track and measuring KPIs
• Effective collaboration skills with peers, stakeholders and partners across the organization and ability to work across different geographies, languages, cultures, and business maturity levels
• Effective at problem-solving and prioritizing capacity
  

Technical skills

• Group finance tools:PLAI / PowerBI / TM1

Languages

• English mandatory
