JOB PURPOSE
- Main purpose of S2V Global Accounts Payable Process Lead is to implement the leanest, simplest, and most up-to-date end-to-end S2V process possible and follow continuous improvement principles to streamline the process framework to be able to answer the business needs and improve user experience for the respective area of expertise.
- This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our accounts payable processes across multiple regions with a focus on invoice receiving and payment processes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Core Model and Compliance
- Accountable for designing and implementation of best-in-class S2V process landscape aligned with the business needs and Internal Control guidelines on a timely manner.
- Accountable for proper and complete documentation of the process flows (PF), desktop procedures (DTP), local work instructions (LWI), RACI and policies for the related end-to-end processes.
- Eliminate workarounds and replace them with S2V Core Model processes.
- Ensure that operational teams are adhered to the S2V Core Model.
- Ensure that the respective S2V processes are designed & build in line with Internal Control standards.
Process Optimization & Standardization
- Streamlining current processes and implementing new processes to answer business needs.
- Analyzing the efficiency and costs of existing business processes and improve where needed.
- Identification of continuous improvement opportunities as per Voice of Customer (VOC) by organizing listening sessions, surveys and making pain point analysis.
- Owning simplification and automation pipeline for respective area.
- Collect, create, understand, and share best practices from the external best-in-class service organizations.
- Lead/support projects for additional tools to be implemented to improve S2V processes.
- Lead the prioritization of process related projects in scope, build the project management competencies & capabilities & allocate key project management resources based on business prioritization.
- Lead change management activities for initiatives and process changes like communication, training, KT, etc.
- Assess local needs/specificities where it is a legal or business critical requirement and support local teams & S2V Partners accordingly to build a process design & answer questions as a consultant
- Assessment of the Change Requests coming from regions/countries, in coordination with the Solutions team and prepare business case if needed.
- Arbitrate on changes requested by Countries or Regions: challenge the need and enforce the respect of standards.
- Applying LEAN and 6 Sigma methodologies to simplify complex processes.
- Continuous effort to increase User Experience by reviewing the process & solutions together with S2V Solutions Transformation Lead.
- Fostering a culture of continuous process improvement together with S2V Solutions team.
- Become one of the main actors for Design Authority to propose and follow up improvements for processes.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives including standardization and/or re-engineering of the system/processes.
- Support SmartAssisst chatbot improvement together with Solutions team.
Internal Control Framework
- Ensure that all S2V processes are designed & build in line with Internal Control standards.
- Design the way to monitor Mandatory Controls in line with Polices and Internal Control Manual.
- Drive simplification and harmonization projects (together with Global Internal Control team and S2V Solutions team) to eliminate or automate the manual controls.
- Design of relevant S2V internal controls framework/ contribute to creation of S2V Internal Control manual for CHC S2V.
- Ensure the implementation of all relevant controls for S2V CHC organization worldwide.
- Perform regular updates to the S2V IC Framework, to follow the evolution of the Global CHC S2V Manual of Internal Control, and the release and/or amendments of Group policies and standards.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Group Manual of S2V Internal Control by providing constructive feedback and sharing best practices.
- Prepare S2V Internal Control guidelines for S2V community for testing's, self-assessments, and action plans and present to proper guidance.
- Perform qualitative follow-up of S2V internal controls for:
- IC Testing
- Control Self-assessments
- SOX audits
- Support with the development of adequate action plans & improvement recommends.
- Follow up on time execution of action plans.
- Participate into financial S2V related projects at global level to ensure all relevant Internal Controls & appropriate Performance Monitoring are in place for CHC S2V GBS processes worldwide.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
- Get benchmark and design metrics and KPIs for respective area.
- Propose new KPIs to operational teams for making better analysis of the performance.
- Analyze and identify improvement areas and opportunities and drive global initiatives wherever possible.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Serve as a global point of contact for S2V Operational teams including BPO in the respective areas.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Treasury, Digital and other teams to ensure alignment of cross-functional activities with broader business strategies.
- Manage potential impacts of other processes, policies or procedures that may impact S2V processes.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
- Engineer or Finance degree or equivalent.
- 5-10 years of experience in P2P and/or Finance/Procurement function with a role of Process Excellence, Process Lead or Operations and very good knowledge of end-to-end P2P processes is a must.
- Deep understanding of e-invoicing solutions and requirements is a must.
- Deep understanding of accounting and/or Accounts Payable is a must.
- Deep understanding of vendor payment processes is a strong asset.
- Financial Controlling, Treasury, A2R and Internal Control experience will be a big plus for the candidate.
- Experience with digital tools like Coupa, SAP, Concur will be a big plus for the candidate.
- Project Management experience with implementation of Coupa, EPR will be a plus.
- High level of Interpersonal/ communication skills with an ability to communicate and present at different levels of the organization.
- Strong analytical skills to resolve critical issues and ensure programs stay on track.
- Strategic thinking and process impact understanding.
- Change agent with strong problem-solving skills.
- Transversal mindset and ability to work across processes, geographies, languages, cultures, business maturity levels.
- Fluency in English mandatory and other European languages are desirable.
- LEAN & process optimization mindset, with the strong ability to challenge the existing paradigms to build beast in class services & processes.
- Strong Act for Agent – change agent attitude as a must.
- Strong ability to orchestrate, follow up and monitor a significant number of projects and activities while looking to continuously improve processes to better support the business or increase efficiency and productivity. Agile and versatile mindset; capability to switch fast to new topics, driven by business priorities.
- Strong problem solving and decision-making skills to resolve issues in a manner that is customer oriented. Focused on business-value, with a flexible and versatile approach that considers and adjusts to develop recommendations that reflect shifting business priorities.
