Job Overview

We are looking for a highly capable Full-Stack Developer who thrives at the intersection of front-end and back-end development. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and technical leads to build seamless, scalable, and secure web applications. This role requires deep proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (React/Vue), back-end platforms (Java Spring Boot), and supporting infrastructure such as Kubernetes, Redis, and CI/CD workflows.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical skills with a strong system design mindset, embraces AI-assisted development, and works effectively in an Agile, test-driven environment. Fluency in English is required for global collaboration; daily operations are conducted in Chinese.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

  • Build and maintain end-to-end web applications using Vue (with Vant) on the frontend and Java Spring Boot (Java 17+) on the backend.

  • Design and develop scalable APIs via Spring Gateway, ensuring clean service boundaries and efficient routing.

  • Implement responsive and accessible UI components using reusable design patterns and UI frameworks.

  • Optimize frontend and backend performance for stability, responsiveness, and scalability.

Architecture & Engineering Practices

  • Practice data modeling and architectural thinking to design modular, maintainable, and evolvable systems.

  • Manage data flows across systems with strong database design (SQL and NoSQL), query optimization, and caching strategies (Redis).

  • Leverage AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) for efficient coding, and promote their effective use within the team.

  • Adopt and improve CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions, ensuring quality and speed in software delivery.

  • Define infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

  • Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and write reliable unit/integration tests using tools such as JUnit, TestNG, and Jest/Cypress.

Collaboration & Process

  • Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives) and continuously deliver incremental value.

  • Collaborate with frontend, backend, and DevOps teams to deliver cohesive product experiences.

  • Participate in code reviews and enforce engineering standards and best practices.

  • Communicate effectively with global colleagues in English and work collaboratively in a Chinese-speaking environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical Expertise

  • Solid experience with Java Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security, and API design.

  • Proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (Vue/Vuex, React/Redux), with experience using Vant for lightweight web interfaces.

  • Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML/CSS, and tooling (Webpack, Vite).

  • Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL), data modeling, indexing, and ACID principles.

  • Familiarity with NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Cassandra) and caching solutions (Redis).

  • CI/CD experience using GitHub, with automation around builds, tests, and deployments.

  • Kubernetes know-how, including Helm and container orchestration in cloud environments.

Development Mindset

  • Strong “don’t reinvent the wheel” mentality; ability to reuse and integrate existing tools and libraries effectively.

  • Passion for clean architecture, code quality, and engineering standards.

  • Agile mindset with proven experience in Scrum-based teams.

Language Proficiency

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) for international collaboration.

  • Comfortable in Chinese for daily work and team communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience as a full-stack developer equivalent in frontend/backend combined roles.

  • Experience with C# (.NET Core) or Python (Flask/Django) is a plus.

  • Experience working with Tencent Cloud or other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).

  • Contributions to open-source projects, technical blogs, or AI-enhanced developer tooling.

  • Experience in regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, pharmaceutical) is advantageous.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, contributing to iterative and incremental delivery.
