As Quality Officer within our Quality Team, you’ll lead and manage the implementation and maintenance of the Country Quality system across the country organisation, embarking all concerned country functions (responsible for Good Practices - GxP and health-regulated activities), ensuring safe and efficient quality products, and information and services are made available to meet patients and customers’ needs.

Main responsibilities:

• Contribute in the management and maintenance of the Country Quality Document System.
• Ensure management of Product Technical Complaints under the supervision of the Country Quality Head (CQH).
• Provide support to the CQH in all product quality/technical matters and GXP related activities such as quality deviations, quality events, quality alerts and recalls of medicinal products from the market.
• Evaluate and maintain correct handling of temperature deviations of transportation or storage of Products.
• Assure compliance with and implementation of EU GDP and local regulation (Fimea).
• Execute operational tasks related to RP responsibilities as delegated by the RP.
• As deputy for Responsible Pharmacist role: Assure that the medicinal products sold by the medicinal product wholesaler meet the requirements set for them in Medicinal Act or in provisions issued pursuant to it, and that the medicinal product wholesaler complies with regulations and guidelines issued on the storage, handling and labeling of medicinal products (Medicinal Act §33).
• Act as deputy for Narcotic Responsible Person.
• Act as back-up contact person concerning mandatory reserve supplies.

About you

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience of RP required.
• Soft and technical skills:
  • Solid experience in GxP particularly GDP and GMP areas & other health regulation applicable in pharmaceutical industry.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in quality management system.
  • Well-organized, strong written and oral communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities & urgencies.
  • Ability to work transversally in a matrix organization & to foster a process simplification approach while meeting compliance requirements.
  • Ability to easy & quickly adapt to changing situations and priorities.
  • Committed to customers, result oriented and decision making.
  • Ability to prioritize workload based on patient safety and commercial risk assessments.
• Education: Master degree in Pharmacy.
• Languages: Finnish and English on advanced level.
